I can understand why a police officer would have emergency lights so that they could quickly and safely get to a call, but for what reason should officers be allowed to park in no parking zones all across the nation even when not on a call? Is this simply a way for them to flaunt that they are the boss and can do what they want? Do officers believe that they themselves also need to follow the law?
