As soon as you opened the set of dishes i knew for sure that came from Janet..she is always really good at those unique gifts.Awesome quilt Zoa..I always enjoy when Simba is around for mail time..i laugh at his trying to eat the cards all the time but he really outside himself this time on the quilt..what a silly guy he is sometimes.

  12. Kittens Day 80 — Happy Halloween! — If my old gentleman tuxie buddy were still around, he would be 16 on Oct. 31st, counted from the day I got him as a kitten 6 to 8 weeks old. He's been gone over a year and a half and is much missed still. — A new development: The buff-ginger kitten boy has been sleeping with me any time I try to sleep, just about, all this past week and today. I don't see how I can keep him, but I am considering it. His little mama Conchita, I want to keep if at all possible. I had expected to give away the four kittens and Brindle (not the mama), so I'd have just one cat, and get mama neutered, shots, chipped. Now I am considering keeping little Buff-Ginger. He doesn't have a proper name. I try things, but not his so far seems to fit, and I think that's me, not him. He's really sweet, but they are all beautiful and good, sweet cats, even nippy Brownie, who still hasn't learned to hold back when play-fighting with his siblings. He's been talking to me, haha. So name suggestions might help. — Hoping for some progress during the week. I'm making calls and I had emailed a local organization for assistance with SSDI etc. But I just don't see how I can get the help I need in time, before it's too late and I end up in a shelter, likely. So I'm hoping for better news and a fast track if possible, but I feel badly unprepared, and I'm freaked out more than I can say. Hoping to stay online until the end of December, but not sure I'll be online in December and after, maybe indefinitely.

  22. Happy Halloween (belatedly) to LF, Simba, Stella, Splash, Boo, and the rest of the gang. And if your kitties went trick or treating, make sure the candy doesn't contain chocolate… it's hazardous to our feline friends.
