  1. History proved Weysersheim correct. I find it unbelievable that Paulus so easily shrugged off the concerns of a Corps Commander. As well, why did he put up with Schmitt? I've worked with people with whom I had major personal conflicts. It is a frustrating and usually pointless endeavor. Nothing good comes from it. Paulus was "the" wrong man for the job.
