Charlize Theron was in the Netflix movie, Old Guard, which is sort of a superhero movie that I found to be actually pretty good. I do not think it was super-great & it had more potential to be better, but I would definitely watch a sequel to it if it were made. I found it pretty entertaining that kept my attention throughout. James Gunn made a movie called "Brightburn", which is a horror movie that does explore the concept of what if Superman were bad. There are surprisingly plenty of movies based on graphic novels that I never knew were graphic novels (e.g. Wanted, 300). But, they do not really feature superhero powers. The best non-DC and non-Marvel movies, IMO, featuring superhero powers are….
