Halo 4… well, there are good parts and bad parts. Chief/Cortana? Good. What could have been if they had stuck with the storyline started? Good.
Camera on the outside of that booster? That's actually an IRL thing. Engineering camera, good for catching if something breaks and relaying how badly your thing screwed up. They'll often be attached to all sorts of crap. The Saturn V had a bunch, just as a starter, including inside the tanks to help see what was happening.
Harvest was hit because a chance breakdown of an automated cargo ship let a brute-led ship find out and come over, which led to their Sparkly Forerunner Bullshit Sensor pick up on all the humans on the planet. Information about this got back to the three prophets who WOULD become Mercy, Regret, and Truth who decided to take advantage of the moment to take over, and also kick the brutes back down for a bit for how they handled it.
Arbiter doesn't lead the initial invasion of reach. After the big supercarrier gets destroyed, the fleet that arrives in the cutscene is Arbiters fleet. So Arbiter takes over the invasion after the previous commander gets killed.
I think over the course of the war arbiter and his fleet glass multiple colonies and planets, and Arbiter is responsible for the deaths of over 1 billion people. Kinda crazy.
Humanity only actually lost around 20 planets, its just the planets they lost were ones like reach, with high populations so proportionally more people died

Ah, the DMR which should be redundant in the hands of a Spartan since it fires the same 7.62 X 51 round as the assault rifle, yet it does substantially more damage and Spartans can't seem to handle the recoil of the standard assault rifle. Heck, even the DMR bloom is probably more than you'd see from a rifle like that in hands like those. It's a mechanics thing, and I just wish they gave a different caliber for the DMR.
There's actually a modified assault forklift IRL that can sport a giant riot shield.
Roosterteeth also made a mech show called Gen:Lock.
RRWBY Volume 4 was okay, but 5 really left me wanting. 7 was underwhelming and 8 was personally vexing. Curious to see how 9 turns out.
