The way Mike feels about "midnight mass" is how I feel about that one, "midnight club", and "usher" together. in 2 years' time Mike Flan has become my favorite director of my lifetime, I just dig it all so damned much, glad he's working.
I love Judy Greer being in everything . Her face and voice are instantly recognizable. so regardless of the character she plays, she feels like a reoccurring character that travels from movie to movie .
"It's like a live action cartoon" The cartoon was so kuch better that it's a crime to even say the Flash live action has anything to do with Flashpoint
Jay is giving The Killer undue credit. Interesting and redeeming interpretation, but I doubt it was meant to be that clever… just a try hard version of John Wick. Basically shit. The Smiths soundtrack is so pretentious.
Yes Jay, they did get Michael Shannon for The Flash, and he publicly admitted it was a bullshit role in the nicest way possible by saying it wasn't very satisfying and likening it to being an action figure as opposed to a character.
4:30 The most interesting idea I've heard all week. Wes Anderson directing a Charlie Kauffman script. Even if the final result is garbage it would be soooo interesting to watch this happen.
I am still hoping for a full on review by you guys about Fall of the House of Usher. For me it's in my top three Flanagan series together with Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass. I love love loved the final episode which has some of his best writing ever. And I am super curious to your reaction on the scene on the bed in the finale…

The simple fact Jay even watched The Flash is astonishing.

At some point… please mention the Greeley Estates picture. Great band
People talk about Paul Rudd looking good for his age but he's got nothing on Barbara Crampton. 64 years young and still an absolute knockout.
"I just wanted to see babies falling out of skyscrapers" – Jay Bauman, 2023.
We need another show where Jay talks to his cat about the latest sex-pervert films

Wes Anderson did a series of vignettes on Netflix from the short stories of Rhoad Dahl this year.
The simple fact Jay even watched The Flash is astonishing.
Even when Jay “doesn’t remember a thing” about a movie he still remembers more than Mike.

Mike asking Jay if he wants one of the dead prop cats was actually just him trying to fish for Christmas gift ideas

It kills me how Mike refers to them as Pervert movies and Jay just goes along with it. Not only that but we know EXACTLY what they mean

Stop insulting Joe Dante pliz
Jay is steadily draining the life of Mike and Rich in his quest for everlasting youth.
Sanctuary is the most brilliant adaptation of Mike and Rich's relationship that I have ever seen.
"But then, do they fight ZOD in the middle of the desert for 45 minutes?" should be a standard question when reviewing great movies.
Hope they talk more about animated movies in the future!

The amount of seizures in Suitable Flesh makes me think of Donald Palmer, the old pervert.

I hope The Batman is in this one.
I believe Wes Anderson could make a very, very unsettling surreal horror movie.
