  1. The way Mike feels about "midnight mass" is how I feel about that one, "midnight club", and "usher" together.
in 2 years' time Mike Flan has become my favorite director of my lifetime, I just dig it all so damned much, glad he's working.

  2. I love Judy Greer being in everything . Her face and voice are instantly recognizable. so regardless of the character she plays, she feels like a reoccurring character that travels from movie to movie .

  3. Jay is giving The Killer undue credit. Interesting and redeeming interpretation, but I doubt it was meant to be that clever… just a try hard version of John Wick. Basically shit. The Smiths soundtrack is so pretentious.

  4. Yes Jay, they did get Michael Shannon for The Flash, and he publicly admitted it was a bullshit role in the nicest way possible by saying it wasn't very satisfying and likening it to being an action figure as opposed to a character.

  5. 4:30 The most interesting idea I've heard all week. Wes Anderson directing a Charlie Kauffman script. Even if the final result is garbage it would be soooo interesting to watch this happen.

  6. I am still hoping for a full on review by you guys about Fall of the House of Usher. For me it's in my top three Flanagan series together with Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass. I love love loved the final episode which has some of his best writing ever. And I am super curious to your reaction on the scene on the bed in the finale…
