  2. Honest questionโ€ฆ
Whatโ€™s the defining factor between grilling and barbecuing in the US? What you guys call grilling Is barbecue here in Australia. Grilling is in the kitchen which I think you guys call broiling?

  3. I'm not a grill man ( steak well done in the pan ), but this guy is a god send for you folks.

Explains the best way to grill but also gives plenty of tips to not blow your face off or burn your house to the ground.

  4. Another one that seems very obvious, but to some people isn't… Keep scissors in the kitchen. Ideally a few different pairs for different purposes. They're good for cutting some meats, twine off meat, as well as trimming veg like spring onion easily, or just even for opening some difficult packaging.

  5. An extra note to the charcoal reusability! If you use non-additive pure wood coals, catch the ashes, they make for great gardening fertilizer. Most ashes hold approximately a 0-1-3 values of N,P,K (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) and I've been using it for years to grow better melons, tomatoes, and strawberries. Use with caution, it's actually quite powerful!

  6. Loads of this is common sense, clearly missing in this wokeworld today! But yeah, 17:32 – I first bought a roll of that stuff in 1995 – I still use it! I cut it into the sizes I needed it for. Originally it was whilst I were living in a caravan (trailer for the Americans out there!) to stop things falling over whilst on the move. But it is mega-useful for opening jars, taps, getting a good grip on ANYTHING that has weird angles to it that will not budge but you can get your hand onto – plus what you use it for!
