You're an Orange Imperial Knight and I'm an Orange Ork. I'm trying to teach you how to compete.
If you painted it Orange, you would've caught onto the magic like Hogwarts. Harry Potter.
They could just release the plastic Ur-ghuls from BSF as a standalone…
3d printing is about to get more popular
Tbh for most of these models Drukhari collectors just kitbash them from something else (usually AOS), and ur-ghuls we got the plastic ones from blackstone fortress on ebay. I can say from experience finecast mandrakes are horrible. So from GW's perspective they simply were not selling, so makes sense to "rotate" them.
Spess Mehreens should just be split between Firstborn and Primaris Codexes. Too many entries, too hard to balance properly. And I'm telling this as a Spess Mehreen player.
same thing with not getting plastic genestealers when they exist in boxed games; we have 'new' ur-guhls in the blackstone fortress, right?
why not just sell these things ;-;
what do they have to lose?
I have Gabriel Seth. I don't play Flesh Tearers.
Beast master (and beasts) as well as the court of the archon should have their own box anyway. Although judging from the new Warlock box for Aeldari they still will be to expensive for what they bring. Bless my 3d printer.
I think you would do justice to a titan but I can respect that it’s just not what you’re wanting to do.
hate the range rotation.
as many new players can not build their armies like they want as there are models they can not get.
They’ve done the range rotation for Middle Earth for a while, you end up having to buy certain minis when they are made to order. I think in the most part the minis going into rotation are finecast, hopefully plastic alternatives come in time.
Sorry guys, after Middle Earth my friend finally convinced me to get into 40k and doing some research I fancied the Dark Elfs, so they got nuked. My bad.
You are so right about the Drukhari, we just need a Court of the Archon kit with one of each model, and a Beastmaster kit with the skyboard, fiend, two khymerae, and three razorwings. That would fix 8 out of the 11 finecast kits
I definitely would have bought a box with all four current Cryptek models
I often pull all nighters spending most of it painting. I just take tiny 5 minute breaks and listen to audio books! I love it!
ahh dark eldars were always lame anyways
Losing 11 models out of the 34 models in my Dark Eldar codex was crazy to me as a brand new 40k player. I'm in the process of trying to get to 2000 points of Dark Eldar and my list includes a Court of the Archon unit as well as several Grotesques. I'm not interested in proxying models at all, so I'm forced to either drop some serious cash to finish out the finecast part of my list in a very short time window, or just….not be able to play those units at all in my army.
If an even newer player than myself starts playing after this "rotation" and falls in love with Dark Eldar, how would they even build a Coven detachment when Grotesques are very important units for that purpose? The Court of the Archon is also a very strong competitive pick at the moment as a way to get some non-Coven durability on the board since the rest of our army is made of paper. Sure, it's incredibly expensive, but at least it's a valid option. I'm totally flabbergasted that they would retire actually played units without some other way to obtain these models.
Stuff like this makes me really question whether it was the right decision to start playing 40k at all.
Both Lelith's look really weird to be honest.
The new one though is just super chonky
I converted most of these models, finecast seems expensive and annoying to work with.
I’m hoping to see a Grotesque box with three in the box for less than $70
God that knight is gorgeous
Well they rotated the Squats. After 30 years.
Dark Eldar Models you say??? Uh, 3D Printer goes *Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.*🖨
While I agree that the Knight models are cool, I'd argue that GW releasing superheavies and flyers marked the point where the game itself went down the toilet. :/
GW already ruined 40k as a whole with primaris lore spaghetti
Is it really expanding (gw) at this point?? I think it is slightly stagnating.
coming back to game after 20 years…yeah what you said about space marines is spot on. Like…wtf is this? wtf is that?
Oh god, I've had to stay up for 24 hours a couple times for work, it's gross… and I absolutely couldn't do it now; when I was younger, maybe.
I love that knight model, it looks so beautiful, and I watched your video where you painted it, AWESOME!
I cant afford to be playing the game anymore. So I'm removing all of the links on YouTube Instagram and Facebook. If I can afford to play the game I'm not spending hours watching videos about it. Its their fault. I've struggled and sacrificed to keep this passion but I'm sorry enough is enough.
TBH mate Making a Knight army might not be totally expensive It wont take much to get all the posibilities together If it works out
I was eventually going to start a Dark Eldar army after I have my two other armies fully completed. But with the confusion and lack of communication that Games Workshop has been pulling on us, such as the little information about the Dark Eldar rotation, I don't even k own if I want to even play this game anymore. After so much time of collecting, painting and playing armies, (and I loved it all), and now seeing them making things intentionally obsolete, or being in a questionable rotation doesn't make it feel like a hobby or game anymore, it just makes me stressed, now. My collection of Firstborn Marines even worry me, what of they pull the plug on them from us? And we all know GW won't tell us anything
sand brown clothing, trust me for GSC!
Youtube algorithm set me here. It just knows…. +1 subs
I think it is quite clear that they are retiring finecast and these are probably the ones that require a new mould making (resin moulds typically last about 50 to 100 casting before the mould wears out) and don't sell well.
Space Marines 40k & Space Marine Age of Sigmar.
GW assembly instructions get more and more complicated to the point it's a nightmare to assemble lol
"Return in due course" – I'm sure they said the same thing with Squats 🤣🤣🤣
The new lilith is very ugly thou. The face, those giant muscles, looks like a dude in a wig doing a wallmart lilith cosplay. Horrid.
You're a great painter, but the pink/purple colour scheme for that knight just seems weird to me. Is it a Slaanesh knight?
