The thing is, that raspy high-pitch style of singing is impossible to maintain passing certain age. Every 80s hard rock and hair metal band is suffering the same fate, just look at Motley Crue. Too bad most of their songs cant be performed any other way. It was just a stamp of the times that cant be replicated and should be left alone or arrange the songs a lower register.
