SCAR is an AR-18, nothing like an M240. Look at an AR-18, G36, and SCAR BCG/Piston some time.

Gentlemen, thank you for making this video. I was on active duty with the Army from 75 to 96, but I never heard a shot fired in anger, and then in civil service with the Army from 97 to 2019. I learned a lot from this video that I did not know. Your conversation about the different types of bullets and twist rates in the older guns was extremely informative. I have a little research project going and your information just gave me a completely new area that I will need to checkout. Again, thank you I sincerely appreciate the information.

Tankers shoot bigger loads. I was a tanker in Germany in the 90's on the M1A1. Personal weapon was a M9 with the shoulder holster. 120mm main gun, M2 .50 BMG for the TC, M240 for the Loader, and M240 Coaxial machine gun. There was a M16A2 in the loaders station used for security LP/OP. The Army was a professional force in the early 90's. We did have to learn infantry tactics because of the peace keeping BS in The Former Yugoslavia. Great video fellas.

Every new duty station, my first ask was for a 203
Must have a single syllable name, or don’t apply. Gus joined in 1984… got me an M16A1, NO pistol and a TOW and an M60 and an M151 Jeep (2nd ITB). Few months later… M16A2, a TOW and a 60, a HUMMER, and NO pistol. Then an M1A National Match (DMR on DMZ) and an M16A1 with PVS4 and NO pistol. Then an M2 .50 and a Mk 19 with a TOW and a SAW on 2 Hummers (light attack), and an M16A2, and NO pistol. An M901 icebox and oven and M16A2 and M60. Then an M2 Bradley with guns and missiles and an M16A2 and NO pistol. We were severely Clintonized and GTFO in ‘92… bought lots of pistols and rifles and shit… put them in a safe and shot IDPA and IPSC and 3 gun, etc.. more fun.
