  1. One thing to keep in mind for the humans is that other artists are brought on to illustrate the key art for characters, e.g. Yusuke Ohmura for Gens 5, 6 and a few from SwSh; and the illustrator Take for the Aether Foundation, Galar Gym Leaders, PLA's Adaman & Irida, and SV's Perrin.
So you can change up your style a bit from time to time if you want to! But the coloring should still remain somewhat consistent ig

  2. As an aspiring artist, i'm practicing a handful of existing artstyles in order to make (hopefully dope haha) fan art and find my own style in the future. Some of the styles i have chosen to take inspiration from, are the ones you have covered on this channel so far, so this was really helpful! It's really well done and explained what you have made, so thanks!

Good luck on making your future videos!

  3. This is exactly the type of channel I was looking for, hope to see more soon. Any plans to take on the various art styles used in Fire Emblem? (Kozaki, Hidari)

  4. This was really good! The only anime styles I can replicate decently is PASWG and maybe the Sonic OVA, probably cause it takes on more of a western inspired style.

If you could go over how to do Ren and Stimpy or The Thief and the Cobbler's styles, that'd be neat, as I'm trying to replicate those accurately right now, but it isn't always consistently good imo.

  5. these videos are wonderfully insightful and i can't wait to see more! my request for a future video would be the Yu-Gi-Oh art style!
not only does that style vary between the anime, cards, and promo artwork, it also varies wildly in just the anime itself. turns out they would alternate animation studios and directors for every episode so they could produce them faster, and the differences can get… hilariously jarring? i especially want to see your take on kazunori takahashi's animation work specifically, i'd consider that the "ideal" Yu-Gi-Oh style, but it would probably take a while to explain all the subtleties of how the faces/limbs/hands look. but i'm excited to see if you can tackle it!
(also, this may just be me, but would you consider slightly slowing down the pace of these videos? i want to take in all this useful info, but i often find my brain struggling to catch up with the snappy editing! just a half-second of pause between statements would make a big difference!)

  6. This was a lot of fun as well, I definitely think the CRT details could come in handy for some art. Also, if you wanna do more cartoon artstyles, maybe the artstyles of Friz Frieling, Chuck Jones and Tex Avery? 3 of the core directors of Looney Tunes' classic shorts

  7. Omg! This video came in just in time! This is so awesome!!
    I’m gonna use this!

Maybe as a suggestion, how about Zelda or starfox, maybe even sonic or Soulcalibur. But you are awesome! Keep up the great work! You earned a sub! 🎉

  8. good video, i like that you explained what techniques were used, why they were used, and how to replicate them, i think a lot of tutorials just forget to do that

imo you talk very fast though, it wasn't difficult to keep up but it did feel very rushed
