This ship is beautiful, and as usual, your presentation is very informative! It is definitely oriented toward families with young children. We won't be scheduling anytime soon. There will be too many unsupervised children running around and into people.
Mmmmm …. maybe someday Royal build a ship for ADULTS ONLY!
inaugural bookings are sold out right now. FOMO is strong with this ship
I cant wait, Ocean View Balcony is what we just booked for January 27, 2024!! I was surprised on price, For my family of 4 it was only $700 more than Odyssey, I was a no brainer, Just for reference it was $5700 for 4 of us. Thank You for all the great videos
I'm definitely impressed with all this concept art.
Don't like the infant balcony because on a traditional balcony you can shut the door and keep the inside cool while you're out on the balcony. With the infant balcony you're opening a big window and there goes all your cool air and the inside heats up fast and your room AC won't keep up. Just keep the traditional balcony's!!
If you have to ask how much it is, you probably can't afford it! Love it. 571 days until we board the Icon. Booked a boring balcony oceanside.
There is something for everyone here. I can't afford any of the suites but there are affordable cabins here for families that will still be great. Ship looks like a ton of fun. Hopefully one comes to NJ someday, if it can fit under the Varrazzano?
Just booked on the May 25th, 2024 sailing after watching, thanks a lot! Now to decide if the Key is worth it with the hefty $45/per day per guest? Lol last Royal cruise for us was on Majesty and much shorter. I'm sure you have a video somewhere I'll just have to find haha
We booked in march 2024 and I can’t wait
That's not a balcony; that's an oceanview with a window that opens. They could do this with almost any oceanview cabin.
I looked at booking in March 2024. The price is higher than other ships going to the same islands. So I ask myself, is it worth it to pay that much more for this new experience? It will be my personal debate for several months.
Just book a staterooms for 6 with infinite ocean balcony.
Hi Matt. Just booked a balcony on the Icon for Feb,22,2005 Eastern Caribbean. Very excited to be on this ship.
I will have to wait a long time for this ship to lower its prices before I can enjoy it. It was over $4000 for 2 people in a standard balcony room. No thank you. Then if you add dining/drink packages, gratuities, internet ect………who's affording this?!
I get its a brand new ship but the prices are absolutely insane. This is being advertised as the 'ultimate family vacation' I'm telling you right now most families can't not afford this.
Ugly ship…..good for families with children…..when the children are in school???? Matt try talking faster
Was excited until I saw the prices. I'm usually one to splurge on everything, especially my cruises, but when I saw the prices for the balcony, I just couldn't book.
I can do 3 cruises In a balcony, to the same locations with the same duration.
I personally will only do Icon for overseas 9-12 days
Calling this ship "The Screaming Daycare Center of the Seas"
Nope, will pass.
I do not see sky class junior suites, only normal suites. Any idea why?
Are there still 2 bedroom grand suites on Icon of the Seas?
That's not a balcony its just a window basically that you can open
Great Overview! And I might add…… I’m overwhelmed. Wow, what a ship. Like Wall-E of the Seas. LOL.
My question is: with this ship, are there anything for the solo traveler? Everything that has came out is for families and that's wonderful. But many who travel are solo travelers. It just feel this ship is not for the solo traveler at all.
How can my family be sponsored to test it out??!! Absolutely amazing!!!!
This ship has something for all ages to enjoy.
Will stick to RC’s smaller ships. The prices are ridiculously high. Im happy sailing on the Enchantment, Grandeur, Radiance and Voyager class ships. They are more within my budget. Also going to start with a little migration to Celebrity as I prefer a more traditional type of cruising.
I'm a little sad they didn't make the premier sailing for 2023. I gamble (decently) and I've been getting free cruises from them. And I had a free one for 2023 that I was saving for Icon. Guess I gotta use it on something else and hope I get one for 2024
I booked my Sky Junior Suite on Oct 24. I can't wait.
I call this ship 0:00 brainiac because of its huge front glass on top that represents a brain
I gave this video a thumbs down because of the narrator's arrogant statement regarding the family townhouse that if you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it. I was already considering Royal Caribbean for our family vacation because I like the bench that they put in every shower, but I was extremely put off by that pompous sentence above. 😡👎
