  1. 5'2" 113 isn't THAT thin, they're at a healthy weight for their stature. it sounds more like this person has other unaddressed health issues they don't know about and the tron bike was the straw that broke the camel's back. i'm not sure we should be blaming the seat design for an isolated strange incident. it's incredibly awful that it happened either way and i hope they recover asap :/

  2. Ouch! A broken rib, especially from a rollercoaster, doesn't sound like a pleasant experience. Motorbike coasters tend to be uncomfortable if not done right, especially if the restraints are too heavy, tight or painful. I hope whoever broke their rib in the story today has a painless and speedy healing recovery. ♥

  3. Not surprised someone was seriously injured on Tron. I was just in the parks a couple of weeks ago, I tried the test seat and it left marks on my legs because of the obnoxious metal bar they have around your calves (mind you I did the test for about 20 seconds). I can't help but think that they put little to no thought into these ride vehicles for U.S citizens. The fact that this is the only ride I have an issue with in all of the parks is ridiculous and unnecessary. This coming from someone who easily fits on Flight of Passage every trip.

  4. The bike seat is the whole point of a TRON coaster but they definitely should be updated for better comfort and support for body sizes.

Oddly enough I was less comfortable in the test seat than on the ride proper.

  5. Virtual queues are perfect for previews of attractions/events, too many people with the "I have to be one of the first" mindsets and it's a perfect opportunity for using it. However when it's open to the general public things need to be relaxed and people should have to wait in line if they must "be one of the first", down with virtual queues, and double down with being able to use Lightning Lane to pay your way into the virtual queue!

  6. When I first heard that there's a new pirate's ears I got excited but then quickly got deflated when I saw it looked so cheap with red n white candy-mint ears. They could've done better with that for sure.

  7. I loved tron when I got to ride it last week! But I would definitely argue those light cycles are not the most comfortable ride vehicle I’ve been in. I think my biggest complaint with the ride (other than it being so short) was how strained it made my neck feel just to look forward. I feel like hagrid did much better with the motorbikes, you still feel like you’re on the “vehicle” without feeling uncomfortable. I saw so many people waiting for the accessible seat that I wonder if Disney should just have whole trains that are more like that rather than the lone seat at the back of some (not even all) trains.

  8. Odd, that there's so much of an issue here in the states, when there isn't in Shanghai. I've rode that one and while I'm 6'2" and 235 lbs. the hardest thing was fitting my legs. Most people don't know to sit up just a little BEFORE they push down the back support. That still holds you in but gives your body room to move without being hurt.

  9. I can see this happening. When I road it I'm 5 11" 245lbs I had to hold myself up off the bike it was killing my chest and ribs. I'll ride it again but I'll use the sit down seat and not the bike.

  10. This lady really made her height and weight the issue. Sounds like she's malnourished, with bone density issues. A broken rib is a horrendous pain. There's no way she just casually rode other rides in that state.

  11. Broke a rib? Must have been broken before they got on the ride.
No way did that happen getting on the ride.
    Utter rubbish!

I'm a big guy and the bike did not push against me.
So if they are petite the ride would not touch their back.

  12. Why Sunday for the auction again… for us Christian church goers this stinks!! I missed everything but the last hour of items on your BIG fund raiser auction and only ended up with 3 items 🙁 Please consider a different day or a late start on Sundays…
