  1. It is absolutely his mod, I have 3 campaigns I'm trying to finish, at current live version, and none of this crap is happening. USA is at 1936 and I'm having some of the best battles I've ever had to date, no countries disolving out of the blue, and then reforming, no cloaking devices, just good clean fun game, that is a much more difficult experience. His mod while very fun to watch, has turned the game into an Arcade game. Fun for watching absolutely though. Torpedo's that destroy the enemy but do little when hitting your ships.. so many comments I could make… again, fun mod, just, an arcade game level of difficulty with it installed…… Fog of war? Nah who needs it.. Insane accuracy? Absolutely, more please.. etc at least you're having fun right?

  2. Japan has now become the Undertaker of this campaign!

I really like the new ship designs you made, especially that modern galley/man o' war you created. I honestly love the early 20th century ship hulls, the stacked decks look so cool and give so much more room to be creative with ship designs. Hands down the best looking hulls in the game.

  3. It's not surprising to see a collapsed nation resurrected, although it did seem to happen a lot faster with the mod you are using. Don't dismiss smaller provinces when conquering another nation. Smaller provinces are much easier to take, and every additional province adds to your economy. A bigger economy allows a bigger navy, which give you more tonnage to take the bigger provinces. This game is a slow roll, and every increase counts.

  4. The new Japan is not like the old Japan. The map doesn't show it, but Japan is actually a collection of warlords observing a very delicate truce. As long as no one causes trouble, all is well. But what will happen if a Chinese admiral sets his eyes on conquering Japan? Will the warlords unite-or watch as Japan falls apart?

  5. The EnigmaHun is totally awesome. I don't know how well that beast will work in the game but just looking at that broadside scares the hell out of me. I wonder if it might end up tearing holes in the enemy's crew rather than his armor.

On a related note, please have the designer who came up with this idea watched veeery closely. Medical intervention may be required.

  6. I think what happened on the Empire's collapse and rebuilding is the country basically had its debts called and couldn't repay them, turning riots over the naval losses into a Boshin War style revolution against the militarists. While it's been five years since the Russo-Japanese War, the Japanese government still left the war low on reserves and heavily in debt to wealthy financial and industrial magnates in the US, UK, and Canada since they didn't get any war reparations. With the loss of their ships, trade and ocean-dependent industries were threatened, and the only option the government saw was mass printing of money or getting more loans. Their old financial backers either balked or didn't offer enough, and the Empire basically did a speedrun of WW1 Germany over the course of a few months, with several colonies overthrowing occupation troops abandoned by any higher authority. The Emperor's still alive, the government's got a good chunk of stable territory back, and it looks like foreign private interests are now more closely involved with the state. But it's got to retake the rest of the country and reestablish order. Depending on how fast you can do naval invasions, you may be able to snatch their colonies and even some of the mainland.
