Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, First Base is a mission given to the player by Catalina, one of the game’s antagonists. The mission takes place in the town of Dillimore and involves the player using a baseball bat to destroy a number of items in a store owned by a rival gang.
To start the mission, the player must first complete the mission “Tanker Commander” and then drive to Catalina’s hideout in Fern Ridge. Once there, Catalina will explain that she wants the player to “prove” their love for her by completing a series of dangerous tasks.
The First Base mission specifically involves the player driving to a store in Dillimore and using a baseball bat to destroy a number of items inside, including cash registers, a refrigerator, and a safe. The player must then escape from the police, who will be alerted to the player’s actions and will attempt to apprehend them.
Successfully completing the First Base mission will reward the player with a sum of money, as well as unlocking the next mission in Catalina’s series of tasks.
