Everyone I know who bought the game in 2013, is not buying gta 6 day one. I know it will sell less copies than gta 6, there are less ps5/xbox than ps3/360 back then.
And it’s gonna be a buggy piece of 🗑️. Meanwhile my squad and I been having a blast on Marvel Rivals. There’s already mined data about pve. If that matters to you. I’m just saying. GTA ain’t been fun in a minute. To justify this price tag the game would need to be more than ground breaking. I hope they pull that off.

Rockstar games are ALWAYS buggy and missing features at launch. I'm betting it will take 6 months to a year to get gta online up, then another 2 years for online to really take off. So, the optimized version of the game will be ready in 2028.

This is one of the few games that deserves $100 price tag due to the sheer size, and amount of resources it took to make, and monetize music tracks. The price tag is fine if that includes everything and seasons. Micro transactions for cosmetics are okay, cause it's a choice to buy them or not.
That’s alright, the best games are the cheapest and either getting cheaper or growing in stock value. New games are dogshit and they really want us to pay to get games back to where they should be

My .02 / GTA 6 should stay at the price of $70 dollars for a fun exciting game that is worth the money. The online version is another game completely funded by micro payments, GTA + and/or grinding. The games other studios are putting out are only worth $20 – 40 unless your really into the content. I think the gaming industry is starting to figure that out. Only the future will tell.

100$ for a video game in 2025 is cheap mate. back in 1997 i paid 107$cnd for a brand new copy of james bond 007 for the n64. same with the southpark game that was over 100$.
