  1. I'm never sure if the forest spotting on the balloons help with spotting stealth units or not but if it does it doesn't seem to be such a bad idea having one of them. Nothing else it's a harmony buffer against a faction without flying units. Still seems to have horrible damage output.

  2. I'm totally ok with forcing more value trading. The whole point of dom, in my mind, was to just prevent players from playing in a very lame corner camp, constant kite, style of way that required policing.

That said, the ONE change I'd offer is that if you triple cap someone you get bonus points. So instead of getting 3 points a tic for having all of the points captured, you get maybe an extra point or two per tick.

  3. I wonder if a terracotta sentinel would've been better as an unbreakable terror causing monster. Greenskins tend to lack the ranged with enough punch to bring them down and they lack a lot of anti-large units with solid leadership.

  4. People compare the new Dom mode to land battles, but that misses the mark. In Land battles, if you play against heavy artillery builds, you can outmaneuver them, get in the backline, and punish them. This kind of counterplay is nigh impossible in dom. The arty player will summon intercepting units or unsummon their arty (which they'll do anyway after using up their ammo, getting even dumber amounts of value), making you feel like an idiot.

These are terrible changes, and people will recognize that soon enough and get tired of the new ranged meta. I for one won't play Multiplayer this patch.

  5. But you did win on value 🙂 You could have not capped any point and won that one.

The new domination is basically a landbattle where you don't have corner camping and kiting.
It's not as exciting as the old domination, but a step up from land battles 🙂

  6. This Greenskin build would still lose to range faction and current domination mode isn’t okay for rush faction
This victory because Cathay bring 9 melee infantry to protect nothing

  7. I know your stance on Age of Sigmar Turin. But isn’t domination showing the superiority of the objective based, more skirmish-style game over the WHFB rank and file land battles? Setting aside the lore which is probably why u resent AoS the most, the game design really is great.

  8. Your opponent must not have adapted to the Talons casting change at all – not only did he rarely drop it when you would have been distracted to let it hit, but one of the casts completely missed the cav and exclusively hit his own unit.

  9. This new domination is just so much better. Maybe its my inner empire main speaking but now we can finally get some strategy instead of getting stuffed in deployment and insta losing against certain factions. Statement that points dont matter is only true if one army gets absolutely massacred but in this case it should work that way. In most games thought both armies takie casaulities and points are wrestled by skin of their teeth wich is great gaming expirience. Another reason why i love this change is that its makes game way less about rushing and blobbing that was previously felt because most wh3 added factions played that way wich was really abnoxious, at least for me, again empire main. So for me great change, pls leave the points the way the are rn.
