  1. How about doing a video on "The devil inside"? Not as deep as Nocturne, but it has been pretty much forgotten and it seems right up your alley Grim. Maybe even look at the Alone in the dark games? Up to new nightmare anyway, the "remake" was shit.

  2. Nocturne was badass in its day…. Loved every minute of it…..for me at the time it was super cutting edge with how it played. Would be a perfect new redux for pc etc.

  3. I've always liked the idea of worlds not having an overarching antagonist calling the shots. It's interesting to have a place where creatures are causing havoc simply because that's what they do.
Thanks for the vid Grim Beard!

  4. I am glad the original still exists. There is one section where you are trying to make your way across a wooden bridge and you shout insults each time you fall through.
It something I find myself doing quite often during games.
Having said that I think this is a great version which lots of improvements on the original. I'd never even heard of this game before I saw your video and it led me to give it a go and I really enjoyed it.
Only played the first of the Blair Witch games but it was surprisingly good.

  5. Thank you for covering this game with such passion as mine for this game, R.I.P. Lynn Mathis, the voice of Stranger.
Played back in 1999 when it wasw released, I was 23, there was no much coverage on Youtube about this until I found your video :))

  6. Many years ago now, I discovered a goth gamer boy with a sleepy bird voice. He spoke very passionately about a game called Nocturne. It's been a while since then, and I've had a chance to watch this little goth gamer boy hone his craft. I can't wait to see what he does next.

  7. I'm sorry for lying to you out loud like that 🙁
I'm so gonna play this game… I mean it's quirky, old and on the PC… it's almost a given I'm gonna play it. Hell, if it gets a GOG or Nightdive release I may even pay actual, real, legal tender for such an experience.

  8. Omg was that Wes Johnson???? At approx @30:40
IMDb only mentions a 'Den', 'Dennis' and uh 'Dell' Johnson…. hmmmm there are four of them??? And three went on the same project despite having the same voice!!? Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just. Oh ..

  9. Decent video, but your try hard funny shit is pretty offputting, and you have a shit ton of padding. This video could have been trimmed down to half the length if you didn't stop every 3 minutes to attempt a joke. I only sat through the whole thing because Nocturne was one of my favorite games. Also, how did you ignore the gore system? You can pick up the limbs of dismembered ghouls and beat them with their own arms.
