Ok you have to admit that by the end of his life that the fact he had two dragons under his command is pretty badass
This was absolutely badass to watch. He managed to carve a kingdom from absolutely nothimg, in his years won every battle thrown at him. Conquered entirety of Solstheim. Raiderd for thousands upon thousands of worth of gold. Told Boethiah to fuck off with her immensely valued artifact. Summoned TWO dragons and slaughtered tens of thousands of elves on his island, securing a victory despite the monstrous odds. What a legend.
Just the image of a mother pleading the king to take care of her child as she claims the child has been left unattended since the disappearance of it's mother. It caught me completely off guard and it was hilarious. Some reverse king Solomon dealing with two mothers claiming the same child situation, here we have a mother claiming her child doesn't have a mother.
and so the saga of the legendary atmoran pirates and dragonriders of big grignr island comes to an end. and even after the slow dissapearance of their realm with their grand raids having struck fear into the hearts of knife ears and milk drinking southeners alike, their legacy is certain to live on in the drinking halls and battle hymns of solstheim and sovngarde for all eternity!

I like to think, that, when that one Grigna became a vampire, instead of throwing her out, the Grignrsons made her a living space in the dwemer ruins and she became "the Grigna that lives in the basement".
That back and forth civil strife during the timelapse! Holy shit. Love this series.

This was such a great series. Started off so slow but ended up so good.
And the goals for the next Gringr series write themselves. Reunify the island, take back Gringr Island, make the rulers Dawnstar be forever in a feud with the Gringrsons and Gringrdottrs. Then conquer all of Skyrim and then finally become the ruler of the great houses who have caused the Gringrs so much pain and so much joy in their lives. And the first character definitely would try to make sure all their descendants would live to age 99 as it had become a holy number as it was the age the legendary Gringr "The Indomitable" was when he died. So reforming the religion to have Gringr as some sort of saint figure would also be cool. And I think it would be cool to start with a Gringa who tries to create a home for the Gringrs as stable and as prosperous as it was under Gringr "the Indomitable" and Gringa "Gilded Axe". And since a Gringr fucked it up the first time it's now the Gringas' jobs to fix it.

It's really funny to see you get excited over the court positions menu when that is almost all base game. I think it wasn't an issue with El-Rang because you had nearly unlimited gold and everyone in a position of power was either long lived or immortal. Tip, making your heir court physician means they'll build up their medical skill, improving their learning and health.
