  1. In my humble opinion That cluster F known as Roberts ridge does such a disservice to John Chapman’s story. That man was a true warrior & embodiment of what it is to be an American. Such a tragic loss but also an amazing story of courage. I can’t imagine being mortally wounded and left to fight alone against a number of heavily armed combatants. That man sent a number mf’s to hell that day and died while fighting hand to hand combat after running out of ammunition.

  2. Hey, I love our special operators, I have been around many in my military service. And I love our SEALS- Solomon Atkinson (you can google him) was a friend of mine until he passed away in 2019. But I DON'T believe that SEALS should be in movies or attention being drawn to them. That goes for our other special operators too. I may be wrong, but I don't believe that the kind of exposure we have been seeing with this community helps their mission or their safety. But God bless them all, nonetheless…….

  3. Accountability? How about going to war based on a false flag operation and committing government sanctioned genocide from Pakistan to Mauritania? I love how you guys pat yourselves on the back for being millennial mercenaries.

  4. I rather someone call out, and speak truth even if it pisses people off. With people crying muh bashing backlashing to me is no different then backlash to everything even on the street, and everyday life military or civilian

  5. I get it. Kinda like with what happened with Pat Tillman. Certain things have to be talked about so it may not happen again. Safety stand downs happen all the time, to look at what problems have occurred lately that were serious enough to stop operations and get a second look to see where the problems may have come from.

  7. First you said y’all do AAR to find the problems.
Did you think they don’t? It’s like you decided to do your own AAR on a group you weren’t attached to and put it on YouTube?
I think the same result would come if you did that any direction. Seals on special forces, raiders on SAS whatever.
It seems like you got the results you were looking for.

  8. As a former US Army soldier, this brother is 1000 percent correct. Got to show the bad with the good. Remember, service is not about self it's about the team and accountability which should ALWAYS supercedes accolades.

  10. very few real combat op's are perfect it's the random x factor the human element that causes the unexpected , only experience , tenacity leadership and a little odd luck and the get it done view that turn things around

  11. I think we hero worship all vets too much tbh. Its ok for civilians to criticise the military or decisions that were made and too many times I've heard vets say the opposite. With seals specifically i like the dudes at tactical hyve but I've followed other guys who've done stuff like threaten trex arms because he makes more money than them. I appreciate everyone whos been in harms way and served honorably. That service is no excuse to treat others poorly for no reason.

  12. I gotta be honest – this is 9 min of gobbledygook…lots of talk but not sayin' much….I don't think he should be putting stuff out on youtube criticizing missions that he was not on…or missions from other branches of military.

  14. This isn't an opinion UT based off of real knowledge. Seals get too much credit and the The Army 18 series doesn't get enough. Seals are very childish at times and rely on other spec ops entity's and on many times Seals have had to have their asses saved by Rangers and Green Berets. Also Green Berets are more versatile than Seals and don't talk about or Bragg about what they do.

  15. Remember, if you’re not a tier I operator…you didn’t really serve. That’s what it seems like these days. If you didn’t go through BUDS or tier I training you’re just a veteran. It really seems like the only “hero’s” these days are snipers, marsoc, delta, devgru etc…smh…whatever.

  16. You don't hear Army SF nor DF glorifying their missions like Navy SEALS do. Sadly, with today's social media it's what we're seeing a great deal. I see clips of women soldiers posting their "beauty" for likes. Different military protocols for sure.

  17. It seems people today only want to hear stories or opinions if they meet their expectations or agree with their beliefs. The good and the bad need to discussed and heard.

  18. I may have a dumb question as a former 63S heavy wheel vehicle mechanic. The people on YouTube never give any credit to the mechanic that fixes the shit they bring back to the motor pool.

  19. I wish I could watch the videos that Jay Dorleus took down.
I understand how it can bring about strong emotions from the Navy SEALs that were there when things went wrong or those who knew well the men involved but at least hearing the lessons learned can educate others who could end up in a similar situation if they become a SF operator.

  20. Jay kept it real. Should it be anything else? I respect all of the SpecOps guys. All of them are special people who have gone through hell to make to where they are. As far as I am concerned, KEEP UP the Good Work. Tell it like it is and was.
