Anime has some pretty specific episode to vibe rules and a lotta cartoons copy em so yo can kinda tell when its gonna pop off in a two season show or 12 ep show ect. first 3 episodes = episode 1 and mid season finales are the most universal

I don't see nearly enough reactors discussing the bell that Pacifica's parent's use on her. It is highly likely that Pacifica's parents were abusive and used discipline or training as an excuse. They would tell her to do something. Then, if she refused, they would ring the bell to signal the final warning. If she still would not comply, they would torcher her in some way (likely physically). This trained her to associate the ringing of the bell with the torture and make her more likely to submit in the future. I'm glad the show included this, but wish it was a little more visible or focused on. Its oddly terrifying.

For those wondering about the “at the okay at the fair always in black” clue its a reference to agents Tigger and his partner. They are in the background in multiple scenes over the previous episodes like showing up at the mall when Soos was starting to train for dating.

Fun fact:The song Goat and a Pig was made by prolific musician and comedian Neil Cicierega, aka Lemon Demon. His sister Emmy was a storyboard artist on the show(and toh!) so he had an in to try to make a few songs for Alex. Goat and a Pig was the only one that ever made it into the show proper, but some cut songs include; Two opening theme song concepts, one instrumental and and one with lyrics(the lyrical one was later remixed and put onto his most recent album under lemon demon as an extra track titled ‘the moons request’), and even a villain song for Bill that would’ve been apart of Weirdmaggedon called ‘It’s gonna get weird’. There was one more song that actually ended up being used, though not in the show. I think it was called ‘Stans the man’ or something to that affect.
