This build turned out so cute! 🥰 Here’s a few more themes off the top of my head: elegantcore, citycore, outer space, regular autumnal island, swampcore, medieval, mushroom theme, meadow core, prehistoric/ dinosaur, fairytale, dark academia?
The loom I feel is a forgotten item! It looks so good with the kimonos. The sewing machine is very grandma too! Especially that older one, my grandma actually has one exactly like that ❤ I also think you've come pretty far with this island, but if you're done that's okay too. Don't beat yourself up for changing your mind and needing something different
It takes too long to fully design AC islands. I think that's why a lot of us (myself included) get so bored halfway through building them. Between getting 3 stars, moving in all the villagers you want, tearing down terraforming, building up new terraforming, downloading codes, and setting up everything the way you like, it's just so time-consuming and tedious. I think if Nintendo had streamlined the process more and made it easier to just get to designing, and to obtain items without jumping through hoops, we could turn out these islands much faster and finish more of them. 😛
Been playing Sun Haven. And doing my own version of Grandma Core but like…fall, flannel, granny square, quilted, warm, cozy, Grandma Core. And I have an early spring island but I have hit creative block to finish the last filler areas, blegh. I'll finish it eventually.

my island has no progress. i've unlocked terraforming, but i haven't built anything because i'm so critical of whatever i try to do (which is why i'm a chronic restarter). but i know that the theme is kind of a mix of countryside and light academia… and i might want to have cottagecore elements. and if i had to have either bushes or flowers, i would choose flowers. more specifically, the white tulips because they're my favorite in real life
hmmm some other themes i've seen a lot are normcore, a zen japanese style island, western, swampcore, and single-colored themed islands (like a blue island for example) 💕

I just rushed through my spring island to start a lush jungle summer island 😂 so I get what you’re feeling!
What if you made a giant cat-shaped pond to fill a huge part of the island? It can have a walking trail around it where the cats and grannies relax and go bird watching! Could be a really simple park build that takes up a biggg chunk of space… but either way, I’m always excited to see what you do next!!
