  1. Little context you might have not noticed or forgot to mention is that those Hondas and Asimo, along with the Honda billboard are not placed there just because. That building where they're placed nearby is the brand's building in Tokyo

  2. There was a performace easter egg on GT3 (if I remember correctly) that I've never seen anyone else identify yet. But I tested it and it absolutely works. There is an F1 race that happens in Deep Forest. If the track is unlocked for the series, you can take a certain Toyota MR 2 and it will perform nearly identically to the F1 cars. You can even beat them with it! But only on that track, in that particular race.

I wish I could remember the exact specifics of it all, but I haven't had a PS2 nor any sort of suitable hardware for probably a decade. However, with a little research, I'm sure someone with the game and proper hardware could replicate it. Only reason I knew is because once I got my 100% and/or collected all the vehicles I wanted, I'd race underdog races or try to do things that were unusual or unique.

  3. I remember a video, very long ago, I'm talking early years of Youtube, where someone went off bounds in El Capitan in GT4 and ended up driving on a small dirt track, which seemed to be Cathedral Rocks Trail III, a course exclusive to the PSP. I've never found that video again, and don't remember anything beyond that, but I've always wondered what was up with that.

  4. Absolutely amazing video mate! Have always loved GT but never thought about if there would be Easter eggs. Subbed and checking out your back content. Keep up the great work!

  5. 9:35 – that "visitor centre" is a Starbucks on the Tsim Sha Tsui Avenue of the Stars promenade in HK. The brown buildings behind was the New World Center. If you wikipedia "New World Centre", you'll find the exact same shot for the East Wing Office building.

Also, 4:50 – the one with the escalator is "The Gateway" – that escalator still exists but it's behind the Armani store on Google Maps.

I'm not surprised Polyphony Digital hasn't recreated HK as a map, some of the stores that are on the GT4 track are still there today (even for a lightning faced paced city as HK) so imagine the nightmare for licenses.

  6. Someday, I would love to have a remastered GT 1 and 2. Same game just better graphics. I was inlove with 1-4 then lost interest in the franchise, where it was going. It got away from the experience you had with the early versions.
