Grain And Rock Train Roaring Up A Long Hill In Ohio. CSX 2 Mile Long Auto Racks Train At The Norfolk Southern Interchange. CSX Train Branching Off Onto Norfolk Southern Tracks. These Trains Are In Southern Ohio On Cincinnati Eastern Railroad, CSX And Norfolk Southern Railroad. A House Fire Had The Road Closed.
The first train is a short line railroad chase on Cincinnati Eastern Railroad. This is a grain and rock train that is completely loaded and westbound. I got it in Mt Orab and then went to Williamsburg, Ohio to get it going up the hill. Listen to those locomotives working hard. That was pretty awesome. On my way home several fire departments were at the scene of a working structure fire and the road was closed. I had to turn around and take a different route. I passed my neighbor here who has the horse that showed up in my yard last year. Remember that?
Then we go to Hamilton, Ohio to see a CSX auto racks train that is over two miles long. This is one of the biggest trains that you will find in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. The train is southbound on CSX tracks and is diverging onto Norfolk Southern. This is the interchange in Hamilton, Ohio at Butler Street. Have you ever seen a train this long? Look how long it took to pass.
Don’t miss the Live Action Pets & the slide show that comes from the video near the end.

Nice weather trees look nice
More action for #2414, cool!
Love the sound of those EMDs peddling merrily away, clear exhausts, 4,500 ponies telling about 2300 tons (cars and loads) "you're coming with us." CET seems to be doing well.
Love that grin on Chessie's face.
I like train videos on YouTube jawtooth dpu alright 👍
Great clips, I have never seen a train so long with only auto cars. What is Bushhogging?
Great catch mr jawtooth but question at 14:28 at that street why did they have that crossing closed were they gonna redo the grade?
I have the same key chain. I’m going to keep watching in case there’s more.
@20:55 GTW! I see you!
Good video Jawtooth
21:00 Shout out to the Grand Trunk. Wonder if it's been out on the road for forty days.
That EMD MP15DC end cab switcher, in my opinion, has the nicest sounding horn of any switcher.
I enjoyed watching this video of the Cincinnati Eastern Railroad loaded grain and rock train moving westbound on the Williamsburg Hill, Jaw Tooth! The CSX auto rack train that passed through Hamilton, Ohio on its way south to Cincinnati, Ohio was a huge train that took a long time to pass your location. (Posted on 29 October 2024 at 2140 CDT.).
Do you not have anything better to do with your life than watch dirty old freight trains go past????? Seems a waste of a human life
👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Nice sound of the engines pulling the train up the hill. Wonder if the light blue hopper was once Pillsbury. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Great videos, especially the CER. The railcar wheels are in pretty good shape, because they are really quite. The only sound the cars make is rail joints/irregularities and switches. I am always amazed that the PSR railroads tend to run with as few power units as they can. A two-mile long consist, even with two units up front, seems like it should have a least one DPU. Love scenery, the pets and the commentary. Thanks.
I think that train hauls down to Kilby road also maybe we haul a lot of gravel out of there because of these guys
Chessie the railfanning pooch!
Unfortunately nowadays the only time you see full autoracks is when they're transporting repo's to auction.
Great to see the auto rack train!👍
I've just seen my 1st CPKC lettered cars and the graffiti on one of the other cars had been in Canada recently
His End of Train device isnt working..it should be flashing red..could also mean that someone forgot to switch it on.
That’s my SW,earning her keep!
Jaw Tooth did you hear the squeal coming from at least one of the rock cars I know that it was not wheel squeal coming from a curve in the track did you hear it if you heard the noise let me know.
When I was a kid my frinds would go out and Iam ashamd to adment that we would shoot the insulators off abandon pone lins we did not know that thay were a colltors itam at the time we could have sold them for about 5 to 10 dollors a peice we did not know how much money we were shooting up we just dumb kids
The Fire Brigades here in Western Australia were on radio but are now on digital so we can’t listen in.. de VK6GIA
That autorack train has to be the longest train you've filmed in 2024 – if not, a very close contender!!
Super catch!!
Jaw Tooth, I know I speak for a lot of your fans when I say how great it is that you share so much with us – local history, family events, your compound capers, the entire "ball of wax".
Keep up the good work, and I know it is A LOT OF WORK to create, edit, and publish these videos.
This is the ouroboros trian.😀
Hope you’re doing well Jawtooth
