Government unveils surface fleet strategy ‘spin’

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the government’s surface fleet strategy “spin” contains around six uncrewed missile-firing vessels.

“The spin is it’s 11 warships to 26, but there’s a lot of maybes around it,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“They’re talking about six potentially uncrewed vessels which can fire missiles off.

“But the technology hasn’t even been developed yet.

“The US just has a prototype.”

  1. More lies from Credlin. It's not spin, Coalitions Hunter Class project failed and largely unfunded. Heres a a fact, the navy has not been upgraded since the second world war. Labors introducing new and deadlier technology, including more effective missile carriers and Drones. More than the Coalition did in all its terms.

  2. Atrocious albo – is smiling – he's done a poo in his pants – down there – quiet frankly – it stinks like he does. And he thinks – this one is a policy winner. And yet another policy announcement that is – completely useless. Just like the crime family syndicate – labor is. Again – like a kid – who tells a big story – and every one is a big fat lie.
