  2. I know you normally try to spend less money, but it would be great if you considered cruising in South America. I live in Peru for a short time and highly recommend it because there is so much to see.

  3. Hi Emma, I'm new to your channel. I've watched some of your videos and very informative, and appreciate your point of view. Have you been on a Princess Cruise in the last year or so and can you share your experience (positive/negative) in relation to some of the other cruise lines. We're contemplating booking a cruise to the western Caribbean, have been on the Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas and thoroughly enjoyed it as our family's first cruise

  4. I have a question, but time differences make it difficult to ask on live stream.

Have you ever done or will you ever do a cruise Down Under? I can see that Tony and Don are doing New Zealand at the moment. Would love to see you do one, although I realise Tony and Don’s trip is a freebie.

Just heard you haven’t- maybe there will be a freebie for British journos/cruise vloggers at sometime in the future.

If you ever do a South Pacific I can help with ‘Australianisms’. Mostly we (at least older Australians do) use British terms, so a lot of the terms you use I take for granted also. But we have a few unique terms we can teach you. The Kiwis have quite a few of their own as well.

  5. I always miss your live streams 😭 I think when they asked about being announced when getting on the ship they may be refering to Disney cruises. When you board you get announced…? Have you ever done a Disney cruise?

  6. Yay we are going on our first cruise in a little under 3 weeks. My partner was disappointed when you said chockies (chocolates) on pillows are not being done so much. However he is happy now because our cruise is with Celebrity 😊

PS – our first cruise is because of Gary and you. I have no idea why but 2 years ago during the lockdowns when cruise ships were getting a pretty bad rap, I started watching Gary, and then you. I love you both.

  7. Our first cruise and we have already missed a port. Not a biggie – it’s Newcastle which is just north of Sydney. The only thing that is disappointing was I had planned to have lunch with friends.

  8. Something I haven't seen addressed by several cruise content creators – tipping on MSC vs Ameriacn style ships. As an American who worked in hospitality for 20 years, I want to make sure I'm doing it right when I take my first cruise
On their website, MSC says not to tip indv people – but my assumption would normally be leaving tips for the room steward, and my server at the MDR (as I hear it's always the same person).
But I know in many European countries, tipping is not the same. I would of course pay all daily gratuities, but am I allowed to leave something extra at any time, or for any occasion?

    Thank you!

  9. Would you consider going on a World tour cruise if you could afford it? I know its over your £100 preferred limit. I would, but only because its the only way I could see Tokyo, Israel, Iceland and England in the same trip.

Also, regardless of whether a cruise ship goes there or not, where would you like to go see in the World or Universe? Part of me wants the Eagle Nebula and another part of me wants Western Wall in Jerusalem and then Legoland in the Netherlands. (Lego addict!)

Blessings and have fun on your next trip! And no, I won't be offended in the bit of least, if you don't reply. signed Cruisin with Zevy if I get the chance.

  10. If you enjoy River cruises. You should look into taking a cruise on the Mississippi River. A lot of them will go from New Orleans up to St louis. And then sometimes all the way up to St Paul, Minnesota

Did you see that Emma Cruises was featured on the Money Matters YouTube channel yesterday, 1/5/2023.
It's titled: Emma Cruises, Lifestyle, Biography, and Net Worth
(Sorry, I don't know how to post the link)

  12. YouTuber Chris Wong's next contract is on Symphony of the Seas. He's a casino host and is so excited to go to Europe. So you'll get to see him when you play your $10, haha!

  13. Have you ever been on a sailing cruise like with Star Clippers or Windstar? It would be interesting to hear your comments on how it compares to a cruise on a powered ship.

  14. For those comments wanting to see inside crew quarters, just check YouTube. There are many, many videos from crewmembers all over the world and of many ranks. You will see what officer staterooms are like, what contract service providers' (dancers, swimmers, singers, musicians) rooms look like, both couples and non-couples, and many different lines, including cruise lines and general cargo carriers. There is quite a variety!

  15. Hi Emma!

    Greetings from California!
I stumbled upon your YouTube channel in my feed.
I know that this Q&A is a replay. But I have a question or 2, if you don't mind.

We're going on our 1st River Cruise (Paris to Swiss Alps) on Viking in October of this year, and it will cost "a boat load".
Have you been on this particular cruise? Any videos in your collections about Viking that we can review?

We're retired (60s) and just want a stress-free experience (just board the plane from SFO, board the ship, come back home)
No dress-up, or any of that "traditional" stuff you find on an ocean liner.
Is this cruise line worth the (very) premium cost that they demand and the brand for us?

Book this trip online or go through a travel agent?

    Thanks.
