  1. I realize Kristen Welker is on maternity leave (Congrats) but Peter is better at this job than she is. This fact check was brilliant and was similar to the community notes on twitter, where he allowed Cotton to lie and then hit him with the truth. Unfortunately Welker too often allows lying BS to go unchallenged, and fact checking of liars should not be so difficult. The only criticism I have is that he wasn't forceful enough in refuting Cotton's lies about Trump not threatening to jail HRC, or suddenly "deciding" in 2016 that was not the course of action to take. As soon as Cotton finished lying, Peter should have played the supercut of all the times Trump beamed and joined his spporters in chanting "lock her up". Or the campaign speech days before the election where Trump said the country simply couldn't afford to elect someone facing a possible criminal indictment. The various Trump tweets of 2017 and 2018 where he berated his DOJ for not going after HRC hard enough, would be very effective at debunking those Cotton lies as well.

  2. 4:20 "Hunter Biden is guilty of so many crimes you can barely keep track of them unlike Donald Trump," says this lemming with a straight face. Donald Trump has committed so many crimes he has lawsuits against him in every county of this country. And some overseas.

  3. I want to contrast the interview with Tom Cotton on MTP with the interview immediately following on the program with Hakeem Jefferies. With Cotton the interviewer was combative, constantly interrupting his guest, was aggressive with follow up questions and provided constant reframing of issues. With Jefferies, the interviewer was polite, rarely engaged in follow up questions, refrained from reframing what the Minority Leader said. This represents a complete degradation of the fair and equal approach that Tim Russert exemplified when he was host of the program. MTP should be ashamed of itself in what is has become.

  4. Do any of you find it interesting that many of the trials related to Trump are coming to Merchan's court even though the selection of a trial judge is supposed to be random. It is a 1 in 15000 chance for Merchan to be presiding at all three trials. Coincidence?
