About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. We dream that someday we can transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm.

  1. I was just watching an older video of yours and you just so happen to mention something abt black bears. Um do u trust Abby and toby to handle that or are there more extreme measures around ur farm to keep ‘em out? Or do bears just stay away? Very confused Texan

  2. Proud of you Morgan. Seems the comment I said about giving Toby more as a "first" and such was read and seems you went with what I had to say. Super pleased! Seems a lot of things are looking outstanding now keep up the amazing work!

  4. Do you plan to do some more permanent (space efficient, custom built) nesting boxes for the geese and ducks when you decide if you'll take some pigs (as you mentioned before) or are you just waiting to see how this will do this spring?

  5. Every time I see you fling that plastic hose holder it makes me cringe. When you first got it I thought, well it's a good thing it's not a real Vermont winter this year. Now I am shocked with it actually being cold it hasn't cracked in half yet. Ok, you learned it's a tool you like from Amazon solution, but you know it's not going to last, living outside UV and such things. Then it's five pounds of plastic trash and sure you could just call it a yearly expense. But for how much good you do to the soil, that land, your community …please move on to something of farm value. I've not looked but I'm sure Lehman brothers or Leonard AM tools will make something five times as expensive to plastic, but will actually last.

  7. LOL omg what is happening at 1:09

Toby legit carried Abby off screen 😂😂
Watched that part over 10 times and made me laugh every time.

Abby: “Wait. What? Toby!! What are you doing?! Noooo….!!”

  8. Not to be critical but any reason for the crossed eyed wide eyed picture repeatedly being used? It’s pretty creepy and definitely makes me more reticent to click on the video. Just for some insight if you are getting less clicks. Love your videos in general and I look forward to new ones coming out.

  9. Im just concerned about your plan about having babies in the summer/ fall. Hope it doesnt put heat stress on the cattle. I know nothing though. Just know calves come in the spring storm which is either the boys or the girls HS State Basketball week. Appreciate the reason behind your thoughts. I know VT is way lower in temp & humidity than Ne which is how the corn & soybeans grow. No where near 100 + 89% Gulf Stream humidity in June- Aug
