Let the family sue the hell out of Google. It is about time to hold them accountable. When I traveled to a new city, Google Maps GPS sent me to the opposite side of the street and I almost had an accident.

How can a bridge be out of commission for 9 yrs and not have barricades to prevent motorist from using it
I'm sorry…I don't like Google by any measure but I'm not so sure that they are the ones responsible for anyone driving off of a bridge. Their maps is very useful and provides free directions to get where you are going but isn't it a stretch to say they caused someone to make a driving decision that any reasonably competent driver shouldn't have made? (IE don't drive off a bridge.) How can we expect a Maps application as enormous as Google's to always know when every township or borough decides to close a bridge. That's not Google's fault. I'm sorry. Ever hear the expression "If someone told you to jump off a bridge would you do it?"
