  1. YOUTUBE has got worse and worse through the years.

CREATORS are getting less payed for their work, and has to produce more content with lower-quality.

VIEWERS Privacy and Information is sold to marketing companies, monitoring every single thing you do.

YOUTUBE is doing anything to get more and more money, while everyone else has to suffer with the consequences.

  2. I respect MatPat and all he did and his goodbye video was nice
But I can't help but feel bitter, because the current retirement age in the UK is 66, it will turn 67 in 2028 and who knows how high it will be when I reach my older years, plus I work in hard labour so that's if I'm lucky enough that my body doesn't break down before then. To be a successful content creator and have that as your primary career is a tremendous luxury and personally I would never give that up
I do wish them well though

  3. It's sad, yeah, but at least they knew when to end it, we need to admit we had a content creator we used to follow that now makes very different content now, so thank you Matpat, for raising us, we will forever be grateful.

  4. I’m glad they can step away, but just think there’s people out there who work these hours everyday, but they’re not making millions. It’s just their life, 10 years to be able to retire? Easy. Now imagine doing those hours but you can’t retire till you’re 65 or older. Real life sucks.

  5. It's nice that he can allow himself to retire but I'll never understand it. He had financial success making those videos. He could've taken a break and returned later on. Most of the people will have to slave away at work until they die or reach retirement age.
