‘Good on Derryn’: Hinch to run for Melbourne mayor

Melbourne Deputy Lord Mayor Nicholas Reece says he’s “pleased” to see Derryn Hinch running in the Melbourne mayoral election in October.

“I say good on Derryn,” Mr Reece told Sky News host Steve Price.

“I gave him a call on Friday to say good luck.

“He’s been a great figure in Melbourne for many years.

“Democracy is well served by good people putting themselves forward.”

  1. I don't think much of Derryn Hinch. He's to old. He's a Kiwi and he's never voted in his life. His words. Not mine. But anyone is better than Sally Crap and Nicholas Reece. They're a pair of leftie Labor supporters with an opinion on everything that's got nothing to do with the council. Crap is a freeloader and Reece is a self opinionated do gooder.Councils should stick to rubbish and roads and stay out of politics.

  2. So taxpayers foot the bill for a couple of million dollars of BMW EVs that BMW were finding hard to sell in the first place.
Well done Labor. An excellent use of taxpayer money chasing your Green Dream. BMW laughs at us, all the way to the bank. $$

  3. Regarding Dunkley, I hope Labor get thrown out in today’s election. Regarding Hinch, too old. Regarding any electric cars, expensive and useless. Regarding Labor, they don’t represent the workers anymore and like electric cars are also expensive and useless. But these are just my opinions.

  4. Surely we can have someone better than a drunk who cried and pushed his way to get a liver transplant and then went back on a bender. No Way, get someone who will get rid of the woke Reece and the useless Sally CRAP and vote in someone normal.

  5. Let’s cry that the government is going from petrol BMWs to electric BMWs. You would complain just as much is they upgraded to the exact same car. They use these cars as BMW already have partnerships with security fitting companies. It would cost far more to buy EV Kia’s as they would have to get security upgrades designed, tested and implemented at greater cost.
