  6. Righty, I can explain this now. Ahem.

    So Megumi's cursed technique is 10 Shadows. You compared it to Pokemon, but it's more like Yugioh with extra steps. He has a predetermined deck of cards, and he needs to fulfill certain conditions, then he can play that card when needed. If a card is destroyed, it makes his remaining cards stronger.

    GETO's cursed technique is Curse Manipulation. THAT is the Pokemon technique. He defeats a cursed spirit, then he can capture it. He even turns it into a ball. He absorbs the spirit, then he can summon and control them. So it's a pretty powerful technique. For reference, they are in their 2nd year of highschool, and they are NOT Special Grade just yet. So Gojo is NOT at his full power as we see in the present. This is weak Gojo. Keep that in mind.

    Also, Shoko, the girl who smokes? You've seen her. She's the school's doctor, she can use her cursed energy to heal people. She was the one who was going to dissect Yuji, you know before he came back to life. Also, she's a second year, so she's NOT allowed to smoke, hence why Geto and Gojo lied about where she was.

  7. About Geto's Ability, this will be piecemeal as there is some information that you shouldn't know at this moment;

    It was explained in the movie, Geto's Cursed Technique is called 'Cursed Energy Manipulation'. It allows him to absorb independent rogue Cursed Spirits through the act of swallowing them. These Cursed Spirits then become Geto's to command, similar to (like you said) Fushiguro's 'Ten Shadows' Technique. He can't absorb a Curse that's tied to another person though, so he wouldn't be able to steal Demon Dog from Fushiguro. Like most Techniques, its effectiveness depends on the difference of Cursed Energy and the precision of said Cursed Energy between Geto and the Target.

  11. It's important to note this was quite a long time ago. Gojo may have already made a name for himself, but he was not as strong as he is in the present day show, and he's probably also not quite as feared. It's not much of a surprise that at this point in his career there would still be people who would be cocky enough to think they could handle him.

  12. The reason the animation seems different because its a different series director from Season 1 the OG director leaving to create his own studio due to the insane demands of Mappa.
    His last work at Mappa being the JJK movie which was made in 4 months when most anime movies take years to be made 😬
    Its now Shota Goshozono the same guy who directed episode 8 of Chainsaw Man and episodes 8 and 17 of JJK season 1.
