It really feels like a season finale with twists and cliffhangers !
I'm going to be sad when this game is over. The characterization is really well done and I feel like I've come to know these characters quite well.
In terms of the mystery, there were plenty of breadcrumbs that suggest Beatrice was forced to do it due to her not fulfilling her contract. She has the ability to use an illusion spell to make herself look like Steelwind, But she did not have her familiar with her to compensate for her blindness. That also doesn't wrap up the mystery of Celeste family and who the letter was sent to. It sure seems like whoever is behind this is trying to knock out the pillar families.
Also, the game company is based in Canada so probably not the English version of pants 😆
