The Monster-verse is expanding, and it is a treat for the fans to witness the ever-growing mythology of Godzilla & Kong. In the last movies it was made evident that now both apex predators Kong & Godzilla are going to share the planet but they both have to make compromises to limit their territorial dominance. While Kong is homeless after the destruction of Skull Island he has been resettled in the hollow earth, he has a new hunting ground now, Monarch helped him a bit in his resettlement. Godzilla rules the surface, awakening every time when there any attack by other titans on the surface world. Both Kong & Godzilla have vowed for the protection of humanity, but they don’t see each other eye to eye, their last battle was a tie and humans just wish that they don’t have to face each other again. In The New Kingdom an ancient threat is awakening which is an imminent danger to the surface world. Monarch is not ready, but they had help by a mysterious distress signal coming from an uncharted subterranean area in the hollow earth. Jia the last survivor of the Iwi tribe of the Skull Island is capable of listening to this distress signal & she is the key to the survival of the hidden people in the subterranean area. She was homesick on the surface while Kong was homesick in the hollow earth & both of them would be able to find their lost tribes. Godzilla is able to listen to the distress signal too & he is getting ready to fight the Incoming war with the tyrannical Skar King who is controlling an ancient Titan Shimo capable of bringing Ige-age to earth again. Kong & Godzilla must put aside their differences & fight together against the enemy in the tag team Monster Wrestling match. Movie was capable of delivering awesome action scenes balanced with relatable emotions of the Monsters as well as the Humans, the expressions of Kong were empathetic while Godzilla was a bad boy as always. It was a captivating watch in the 1st half, however a little bit chaotic in the 2nd half, still I enjoyed it thoroughly. The Monster Fights were literally crazy, we were made to realize that Humans are just bugs caught in the crossfire, thankfully Kong & Godzilla are on our sides. The movie invokes heroism as well as empathy towards preservation of natural habitats as well as native tribes, it had a good center and fans are just going to love it.
