Grace, Godzilla is taken….by Mothra
Mothra has always died and come back so it's really fitting she did it again. It really is a throw back to the Showa era. I would have loved more Godzilla in it though. He was so over powered and grumpy lol loved it
How cool would it be if the blade on the end of Scar Kings whip was actually a piece of Space Godzilla!? Which would explain why it would be able to subdue Shimo! I really hope they introduce Gigan soon so we can get into more of the aliens of the Showa era. ❤
They went all out with the VFX, total sci-fi fantasy. Godzilla vs Kong did well as a post-pandemic recovery release.
However, it wasnt an indication of, lets spend north of 200M on this sequel 😂. Whoever saw this coming, and thought it was worth it, theyre looking good right now 😂
I'm prolly the only one but I wish that Skar King and Kong should of had an ultimate 1v1 brawl in the last act instead of Scar King being frozen and smashed to death. Scar King's first appearence was dope but overall he just didnt feel like a huge threat to me.

Crap movie 😂 the girl being key to everything was so cheesy and predictable awful close ups awful scenes. It’s called Godzilla and kong for a reason but we got more of the boring girl
I had a "MARTHA!" in Batman v Superman moment when I realized that the Faye Wray/Kong dynamic was a natural fit for the small women who commune with Mothra. The writing dovetailed beautifully. I think they could have held the revelation until the last minute, though.
I think when they revealed Mothra they should have played the Claire de Lune, which worked so very well in the King of the Monsters trailer. With Mothra, you want to evoke not menace but majesty.

13:20 To explain Godzilla nuclear absorption, he actually converts it into bio energy; although it gives off a high radiation reading, through its conversion it’s not lethally radioactive to humans. The AppleTV Monarch show briefly went over that when they went to the abandoned nuclear power plant.

I just saw it. It was over the top fun. No issues whatsoever. How about the next Kaiju battle be in…. NYC.!! AND Kong can climb the Empire State Building but not die this time… 🙏🏽👍🏽

It should have been called Kong X Godzilla, since Kong was given more screentime. Honestly was an okay movie, just wanted more Godzilla!!!

Watched the movie in IMAX this past weekend and really enjoyed it. Minus the two dudes who kept giggling and chatting the whole movie.
Watched this movie with my dad, my brother, and my nephew. We all have VERY different tastes but went because the nephew is a big Kaiju/titans fan (it's a phase?). Easy to say, we ALL enjoyed the movie. Not 10 mins go by without some monster action. It so satifying and fullfiling to see a good team up movie. I have actually enjoyed all these Godzilla and Kong movies and I might even watch the Apple TV show related to all of this.
Scar King had one of the coolest fighting style I've seen for a Kaiju, like he had skills and finesse, heck even Godzilla struggled to get a clean hit ha.

Watched it today in 4dx . Gotta see the thing or any Godzilla movie in that format if you can . Imax tomorrow but I already know it’s not the same experience . They should meld the two and make it imax 4d .
I thought the humor was extremely forced. Dan Stevens was beyond grating for, Brian Tyree Henry came off as schizophrenic and Rebecca Hall seemed to know everything

You know, this is pretty much the story of the core gods of olympus. Poseidon and zeus were actually twin gods in another myth till Poseidon's worshippers became seafarers. Its why shimo amd Godzilla look alike. GHIDORA was chronos, mothra is Rhea, Godzilla is zeus (soverign of primordials), Shimo is poseidon, Kong is hades, new jailer of titans and underworld (hollow earth). Skarking was Tartarus.

What's the human death toll in the end battle? We only see people on the beach. All those buildings destroyed must have had people in them too.
That's what I was saying universal should cash in on making a godzilla x kong into the hollow world experience ride they basically got the whole blueprint to style of the ride.
