Godzilla vs Kong 2 – One more Wild Card to add to the mix
This video, i discuss a theory that was brought up to me by a channel subscriber and i felt that some light should be shed on this theory, even though it maybe considered a slim one depending on what we learn going forward.

Honestly I think it’s very likely it’s either gonna be this monster, a brand new monster, or Destroyah. Destroyah would appear if this is indeed the final movie in the Monsterverse which I’m hoping it’s not.
I’ll have to say it’ll be a new Titan. One with “ancient rivalry” with Godzilla and Kong.
Rob im trying to have fun on Docs snapshot build 2, stopit lol.
It looks like the Skull Crawlers
What do you think about Bagan being potentially in the mix ha
I mean Kong could be that big because without the big one, Kong was free to thrive without much competition. Same with Godzilla, after the death of MUTO Prime and thus the MUTO species dying out, Godzilla was finally left free to thrive and feed on the radiation.

Be interesting if this creature is the reason behind the MUTOs and Skullcrawlers. And thus explain more and why Godzilla's and Kong's species were over run by both species.
This is awesome I'm glad we can keep the theories going keep up the good work
Eh it looks more like a Godzilla than a evolved Skullcrawler though. Hey we were promised to have new Kaiju not a old one from the Toho series.
I'm honestly hoping for something entirely original to the Monsterverse created by Legendary. They've used Toho's history to eek out success in two out of three films involving Godzilla. And I think it's high time they go back to basics and earn their own success with something THEY make, instead of relying purely on Toho's history and nostalgia. Much as I love Toho's historic lineup, they're where they belong. In the past. Time to look ahead.
I'll be honest, I didn't think of anything about that monster that Kong pulled the axe out of, at first. Just thought of it something a little extra. For the most part thought it was just a member of Godzilla's species.
It's most likely gonna be a Toho Monster. Studios are lazy and don't like to take risks, Destroyah is far less of a risk than a brand new monster.
Looks like the bastard child of Big G and Mothra
Not for nothing, BUT this does make the most sense. I know art book stuff doesn’t usually make it into the movies, but with all the unused footage and ideas the director has I can see him wanting to build on what is already created.
I wonder if this monster has anything to do with the deleted post credit scene Wingard mentioned.
I think if they do encounter the mega species again it will be an evolved/mutated version. The original was killed by Kongs so Godzilla and Kong should be able to beat it. That’s why I think I’ll be a evolved version if they decide to go that route.
Thinks it’s time to leave the skull crawlers in the past . We need something fresh
Great video and new theory. I'd prefer this new (winged godzilla?) to be the new big bad. 👍🏾
The success of GVK showed Legendary that they can stray quite far from the Toho property and have more success than they do with it. KOTM was the most TOHO Godzilla film in the monsterverse, and it didn't do well. Of course GvK has Mecha Godzilla, but it was Kong and Godzilla who brought people to theatres. Mecha G wasn't even in the trailer, or at least not in a recognisable way for the general audience. They will rely on Kong and their "American" Godzilla to bring in the money, just like with GvK. No new Toho monsters needed.
I think it’s an advanced Godzilla species. The axe absorbs Godzillas atomic breath, I don’t know maybe.
