  1. Welp that got me in the feels.. the way Kratos is completely caught off guard by it. At first he almost pulled away but he knew his son desperately needed him in that moment. And the he defended him against Freya and Tyr. Sure he made a mistake but it was a mistake with good intentions and Kratos doesn't miss a beat he's right there for Atreus. So good. Can't wait to play this game in.. about 4 and a half hours.. so close!

  2. Kratos doesn't wabt to lose his family again. He lost his Wife and Daughter because of Ares. He lost his Brother to Thanatos and his Mother to Zeus. He lost his Country and Spartan Soldiers because of Zeus. And now he lost hsi new Wife Faye. Atreus is the only one that Krato wants to protect most.

  3. Tears began to form in my eyes when Atreus hugged his father

The kid had seen some shit, I guess his emotions got the better of him and cried in his father's embrace

  4. I love that Kratos understands his mistake. He knows he's made many, and he just wants his son to do better and live better. He's making a powerful god out of him, avoiding all of the horrible experiences, punishment and trauma he had to endure to become one himself. This is the type of fatherhood mentality we need in the world right now.

  5. I love the way Mimir reacted to Atreus freeing Garm

โ€œGARM?! GREAT BLEEDING FUCK LAD, YOU FREED GARM?!โ€

I also like that while normally Kratos would probably be angry at Atreus for doing something like that, he could tell thatโ€™s not what needed to happen, he knew that Atreus made an honest mistake, one he shouldnโ€™t feel bad for, especially since he didnโ€™t have bad intentions when he did so, and so rather than scold him, he chose to join Atreus in cleaning up his mess

Like a father seeing his kid drop dishes because he slipped, Kratos wasnโ€™t mad or disappointed, just hopeful that Atreus has learned a lesson

  6. The coolest part was switching from Atreus right to Kratos. This game has the perfect balance. As soon as you get bored of one they switch you to the other. Iron Wood felt a little too long but that's okay.

  7. This scene was beautifully acted. Kratos was about to let go from the hug because he thought it was simply just because they reunited. When Atreus holds on a bit longer than he thought he would, he realizes something bad has happened and continues to comfort him.

  8. Everybody (even my brother Mimir lol) mad at Atreus thanks to the big shit he did in Hel, but only his father understands him – calmly supports him, and then they go for the battle…I LOVE this game.
