Goatskin Spurgeon Study Bible

The Spurgeon Study Bible is a very unique and useful tool. All the notes, articles, and commentary is pulled from the sermons and works of Charles H Spurgeon. It’s a nice way to have Spurgeon’s thoughts on a particular text you are reading.

Granted this isn’t going to be thorough, it is more of a devotional tool than a full blown study bible. With that said, is still incredibly useful and sort of a gateway into the mind and thoughts of Spurgeon. It includes several “lost sermons” that are scanned and then typed on the opposite page to make it easy to read.

One thing that may be confusing for some is how Spurgeon’s notes and sermons can work with a non KJV Bible (while it is available in the KJV). This is addressed by updating the language in his work to flow with the CSB, to include quoted verses and outdated words.

The goatskin, in my opinion, is among the best in their entire line to include the Handcrafted Collection. It is a beautiful layout on 33gsm paper. It has an almost 11 point font, making it nice and readable. If you want to look at one for yourself, check out the affiliate links below.
