Love that I decided my next Legion Force will be Dark Angels. Glory to the first. Essentially BS5 Stubborn 20 Man Tac Blobs. Hell yeah!

This will be my legion of choice getting into 30k. Been playing 40k since 2000 it’s nice to revisit some of the old system
The rules for the Dark Angels looks awesome. Lots of flexibility and variety of play without being over powered.
Sad that this current release has not got some of the units that didn't have models in them. Enigmatus Cabal were a cool fluffy unit of extreme jump packs. Also, from what you've shown, the Deathwing Companions have lost their option to have terminator armor. Which begs the question, what to accompany the cool terminator praetor models that are currently available for the Dark Angels?
The dark angels and lion ElJonson are my favorite out of the big five of loyalists ultra marines,blood angels,imperial fists and space wolf's. Not for being lord of the first or first born just how he's been throughout his life. When he was alone on caliban, meeting Luther and his father the emperor of mankind, joining the great crusade, have a part Imperium secondus as lord protector(well in his own wayish 😒 I will admit that what he did wasn't thought out). And finally when I think after the Horus heresy he start to look back on his mistakes and a little reflection of his actions too. But it all came back to hunt him when he found Luther joined chaos. Now caliban is destroyed, except 😤 for lone fortress monastery now called the rock which his son's the dark angels use for a mobile HomeBase. And where he sleep deep within the rock and awakened by the watcher of the dark when most needed. Lion El Johnson the emperors exterminator shall return "loyalty is its own reward!!!!!!"😤😠🦁☠

If only the fallen had decent rules on 40k
Some people bought the crusade for thramas and now can't use stuff from that book and have to wait for another supplement.
Dark angels 4 lyfe baby! Give me that official Corswain model already!!!
They rebalanced the terranic greatsword, shat on stasis, removed most of the Old Night weapons (rad, hellfire rounds, etc), removed the automata and tossed out deathwing terminator armor. Jonson also lost combat focus and Enigmatii are gone.
While the Hekotonystika is clearer, they ensured that no DA player will ever mix and match them. The only real improvements are the Terranic Greatswords, Jonson getting armorbane instead of lance, Corswain's sword getting murderous strike and ap 1, and some of the changes to the plasma casters, et al. Combined with the loss of most of the good fast attack choices, this version feels like its a cut down "we wanted to ruin the game with 8th edition rules, but also wanted to make money from it" mess.
Corswain is Playable! He could be trash for all I care but he's playable 👀 Thank you so much for the review
Deathwing Companions are disgusting as they are the only unit that prevents precision and snipers ingame – your characters are safe in an ablative 20 wound bubble with a unit wide invulnerable
