Tensions are running high in the race to decide Europe’s artillery rocket system of choice, with Germany emerging as a decisive player in a race between teams Rheinmetall-Lockheed Martin and Elbit-KNDS.
If Europe is smart neither, Europe can do it much better systems that both thats for sure, why buy those artillery rockets when Europe can build much better its just a matter off will, and if was to choose the PULS multirole rocket artillery is a much better system
I like the ability to mount Pulse on different trucks. It is a good idea because nations are usually very protective of their industries and this way their manufacturers can have a piece of cake and it saves money too because technicians are already trained and equipped to service trucks that are already in use. For example Tara will get big thumbs up in Czech and Slovak armies.
PULS might in the end be the better choice. The war in Ukraine shows that troop commanders need to think about cos effectiveness. And GMARS rockets might be to expensive, especially sind most of the artillery shooting is done under 50 km. So why use an expensive rocket for smaller distances, when you can use a cheaper one. Additionally GMARS is much heavier. Many bridges in Eastern Europe can’t carry heavy loads. Especially war bridges are very limited and having a bunch of heavy systems, even though each one is within the weight limit, wears down the war bridges exponentially much more.
German engineering in the house!

It's a bullshit competition!
It's simple: Order the maximum amount from BOTH manufacturers!
I’m undecided.
