  1. This is more underwhelming and disappointing when compared to the Cathay reveal. The no beaks or feathers explanation for the beastmen units is a cop out that goes against GW’s own lore. GBG said that it’s literally stated in Warhammer fantasy lore that they have beaks, but just never had models. Why can’t CA just say that GW said no, rather than falsifying lore and cop outs? Those features are mutations caused by following a specific god, and not a sign of a completely different race or off shoot. They are still gors, bestigors, centigors, etc. In lore every beastman is wildly different from one another, and even the goat headed beastman can be considered vastly different from one another. They are all still beastman, but vary in their mutations. That’s how it’s described in WARHAMMER FANTASY lore. It’s also very well known that following a specific god often grants certain and specific mutations. It’s a cop out by GW so as to now allow an “AOS only” unit into fantasy, as they want to make money off of Aos. By that logic the game can’t allow Minotaurs or tiger men, as those ARE actually separate species. Tzaangors and god touched units are not a separate species, regardless of their mutations(All beastmen have mutations). Also, the centigors look terrible. Very much in line with the original Tzeentch chaos warriors that you guys later had to change. They need more flair to them. Adding feathers to these beastmen units and some more Tzeentchian iconography is not at all lore breaking. You don’t have to add beaks(GW decision), but at least add that. Would have hoped as well for a bestigor variant of the tzaangors. Would have been cool if they were also ranged and riding disks. Everything else is fine, although the flamers are a little boring. Also had hoped at least the exalted hero was an anti infantry unit and had kept his dual swords, as it would have added some flavor to Tzeentch and given them a tool they don’t have. Sad as well we got no chymera or special chaos spawn of Tzeentch. I appreciate the effort, but this could have been a lot better. Remember that this is gonna cost as much as the chaos dwarf dlc and more than the TK dlc, and so far it’s not at the same quality, freshness, or quantity.

  2. Still enough four one more tzeetch DLC , LL Egrim von horsmann, generic lorf doombull or tzangor dhsman of tzeetch or end times summoner lird LH Galrach , Generic hero pyromancer flamer hero , units fyre wrym, aspiring champions of tzeetch , brimstone horrors, tzanbulls, and chimera or chaos dragon of tzeetch this would finish tzeetch entirely.

  3. The biggest problem with TWWH3 is that it's basically the same game as TWWH2. I have 6000 hours of legendary campaigns in TWWH2. So burnt out of it now. I play 10 turns of a new campaign every few months or so and get bored and give up.

  4. We could have had a chaos dragon mount (already in game btw)

we could have had the flying citadel

we could have had the firewyrm

We could have had cultists that ACTUALLY MAKE CULTS

We could have had a changeling rework for IE so that his campaign isnt just a one and done

We could have had a Kairos rework… remember him… Kairos? The dude that has needed a rework since release?

We could have had more lores of magic…. you know… for the literal god of magic

We could have had changes for tzeentches awful cults and manifestations

Heck, CA could have gone all out and found some creative way to add the mirrors of madness spells in, one of those thing would be much better than boosting magic (something kairos already does in 3 other ways)

    What did he get?

Reskined beastman and two reskinned chaos lords. Its a tzeentch DLC and tzeentch got NOTHING. A lord who's good for one single campaign and two monsters. Heck they couldnt even be bothered to fix the RoR vortex beast who's ability doesnt even work.

  5. i like the lord and hero but the units really were not anything good or even OK for tzeentch roster atvery least i hope they give the hole tzeentch faction a proper rework insted of that to make up for it….

  6. A bit dissapointed that everything looks like a reskin, but will see if the factions actually get any change in mechanics. Still seems overpriced and wont buy the DLC until theres a good sale deal ( < 20€ ). Thanks for the video

  7. I am happy with the changes so far, and I think if the following releases match or exceed the quality, I’ll be more or less over the gripes. For me its a bit difficult to get back on the hype train now that I’ve taken time off from the game, but I guess I’ll get that total war itch at some point again.

  8. Why not give tzeentch an autowin button while we're at it, would that be powerful enough for you? That's what ya'll want in your DLC's right? Cheatcodes that break the game. Nukes for everyone. That makes a fun game, who wants to be challenged anyways. WH3 is truely for fans by fans, that's why it has such great sieges, balance, storydriven content and loreful additions.

  9. If I had to describe these editions I would label them simple but practical. I like that we are seeing a return of melee only Tzeentch followers as those did exist and the changebringers look neat. Centigors I would have liked if they had added a few extra physical features such as extra eyes and mouths but but what they did was likely due to them having a time limit and needing this stuff done.

  10. For the dlc it's definitely getting more tempting to buy it with all those units and the cathayan leg hero titan…. But Stil I am interested whether they just add units or fix up a bit of the base faction mechanics for kislev aswell 🤔

  11. I'm now so hyped for Thrones of Decay. CA adding a few new units to each of the SoC rosters, and confirming that Thrones of Decay will have a solid content offer, means I am hopeful that 2024 is going to be a great year for WH3 after a turbulent 2 years.

  12. I don't mind Tzeentch not getting the best units, when you take into regard that they already got the best units before this update. But they could've at least made the effort in giving the beastmen units more unique looks. They don't have to be similar to the AoS models.

Tzeentch isn't all feathers and beaks. They could have more mutations, like more heads, limbs, writhing tentacles or bug mutations etc.

It's just very bland, considering that modders have done better already.

I also don't think the DLC is justified yet, because there's no indication that CA made any big changes on the campaign side. If we're getting premium DLC, the FLC should also reflect that quality. From now on CA should go back to what they did in WH2, that being reworking a race with each update.

  13. I think that the Tzeentch's update is nice, but it feels less simply do to the fact that Cathay Gundum is so awesome, but Tzeentch already got his LH's. A very needed update for the faction, but nothing too flashy this round.

  14. I think CA is very well on course to redeem themselves in my eyes. As a community we spoke out on Shadows of Change not offering enough content to warrant the price, which left CA two options; either reduce the price, or add content to the DLC to justify the price. I for one, am glad they chose to add more to justify the price because I LOVE the setting and will always be happy seeing more of it represented in game

  16. Campaign reworks (FLC or DLC) are the biggest draw for me tbh, so I'm waiting for patch notes to really form an opinion or wait for ToD. Atthe end of the day 2/3 of your time is on the campaign, so CA needs to give you reasons to come back tothe same loop after so many years.

  17. The hero and lord aren't that big of a deal to the tzeentch roster since the faction is so magic focused, the hero is the bigger win of the two imo. BUT it means we will almost certainly get the nurgle/slaaneshi counterparts which ARE desperately needed in those factions so that has me excited. That said, having seen these changes to cathay and tzeentch I will be looking to grab soc when a sale hits. Really hope to see some good kislev additions though since I feel like they really got short CHANGEd in the original dlc release.
