I never picked up on the acorn thing but I see it now that you mentioned it.
I’m going to use some context clues and say based on what I saw. Glorio made that statement because he stated earlier on that only certain people are allowed to traverse between demon realms. So he said the second knowing that most likely she had not been outside of the third demon realm.

I personally feel like the "Glorio is hiding something" has been being presented way to obviously and its what they want us to believe its something dark but watch the twist be that hes just in it for some kind of personal gain that isnt as big of a deal as what that Dr has in store
