It seems to me that most people outside Israel and Palestine only see what they want to see regardless of which side. With that said, those defending Hamas are exhibiting more of this intellectual dishonesty.
I'm disappointed with Greenwald to be the most. He seems to only see what Israel is doing wrong, and just will not address the other side. Not quite to the level as Briahna, but i expect FAR more out of him. I think his criticism of people assigning different rules for different sides is just…dumbfounding. It's what he's been doing on this subject long before this most recent hostilities.
