Watermelon Girlโs underwater scene felt endless. Over a year of sketches, studies, and restarts without success. But suddenly, it clicked. The secret? Watch to find out.

Oh, man this sounds so much like the story of my CG learning not just one project but all of them. ๐ข
Underrated frโค
Does anyone know what the name of the song in the background is called? Also great animation!

So cool.
Will you be submitting your short to local film festivals? Bc you definitely should.
And yes that's basically how I've learned everything is failing my way through until I've learned. The cool thing about this "self taught" method is, sometimes we find a bunch of unique ways of doing things just through all the trial and error. I'm 40 now, and kind of a jack of all trades, and it's the only way I like to learn is just by getting my hands dirty and figuring things out on my own.
That just happened to me the other day! Ive been trying to draw my oc with bases ive found and could never get the face right, but i started drawing in chibi style because its more simple and im finally able to draw her! I was so happy with myself
Thanks a lot
I'm so exited for this!!!
I appreciate this. Currently trying to rig a freaking dragon and quite frankly I just feel dumb. Appreciate hearing this
Great advice! Thanks for the insight into a difficult project that you stuck with!
It looks amazing!
Thank you for your encouraging words +.+
Yeah no…This ineffiecent you need to ship things out even if YOU think its a "faliure" cause you might be just WRONG a good 20% of the time. For example the writer behind Pulp Fiction had no idea it would become as big as it did and often great things almost got scaped.
