Hey Luke I have an 18 cm common goldfish and I found some baby ranchus in a pet store and I wanted to ask. Is it safe to keep those baby ranchus with Doradito (that's his name) it's because he had a friend but died very fast and my dad got another one and it also died. I have him since 2019 and pretty much been alone his entire life
My betta once ate a ghost shimp whole. Poor guy was swimming away for his life and my fish just swallowed him whole. It was like scene out of jaws. I'll just call it enrichment.
I have a common snapping turtle as a pet. He got a shrimp stuck in his throat for 4 days!!!! I ended up having to pull it out with a pair of needle nose pliers!!! Turtles are greedy and will attempt to swallow things that are too big for them. Please be careful! ❤
Just out of curiosity for goldfish does the shrimp have to be cooked or not?? I've been meaning to try this out but I'm not 100% sure how to prepare it for goldfish

When I had a goldfish in a 20 gallon I chopped and rinsed the shrimp and it didn't affect the water quality but my baby got a tasty treat
