Give Ear, Oh Heavens Original Christian Song: Robin Calamaio)

The Bible teaches some very hard things. It also features some very unusual twists and turns … and depths. Things so remarkable that even the chosen angels “long(ed) to look” (1Pet 1:12). The word there depicts one stooping down in order to look intently at – to penetrate. This tells us angels are still learning – and they were trying to figure out what God was doing with sinful man. One question had to be, “How can He place sinners in good standing without violating His justice, His righteousness, indeed His very character of holiness? Is that a bridge too far?”

Here is the Commentary to discuss some of this:

Photo 2: Honeysuckle in side yard. May 2024. Fragrance astounding.
Photo 3: A Tiger Swallowtail in that honeysuckle.
Photo 4: Some fast moving, quick to fly, little metallic beetle around the house. Hard to get a good close-up. Dynamic color!
Photo 5: Hoosier Pass in CO 2023.
Photo 6: Above timberline at continental divide. The Rock!
Photo 7: Hoosier Pass … as close to Mt Sinai as I have. Barren, cloud over it …
Photo 8: Me on a rock at Bierstadt Lake in CO (2022 I think). Thumbs up – as “The execution of justice is joy to the righteous, but terror to the workers of iniquity” (Pr 21:15). At the most important part of that passage, I am behind it – as none of us initiate or execute this event. Involved? Yes. Director of it … in timing, place, process and conclusion? No. This is God’s Day … the great and terrible Day … of the Lord.
Photo 9: On the way up to Bierstadt Lake. God knows we all walk a ragged, ,ultimately solitary, path … with rocks and twists and turns – and it is hard to look up. But, He calls us to.
Photo 10: Backyard. I looked out my back door and it all looked very strange. This was why. Not doctored in any way.
Photo 11: This is part of a drawing I did for “Hedges in No Man’s Land”. Here I am preaching/teaching to what ever audience God grants. Simply “Preach The Word …” (2Tim 4:2). It is really simple and safe to simply verbalize His word and let Him use it. Simple. I was clean shaven for a couple weeks of my adult life 🙂
Photo 12: This is another part of that drawing where I am sharing, “The Stick Figure Gospel Presentation” . It is really a good, flexible way to present the gospel and not leave any part out. But, plenty of room to stay in an area of the presentation if your listener needs a little more info on a point. It is at https://freelygive-n.com in written and video form. You will like it!
Photo 13: This is also from that drawing – ascribing greatness to our God – angels and man!
