Gilroy Gardens is a beautiful theme park in northern California. This park originally opened as Bonfante Gardens in 2001, but it was later renamed Gilroy Gardens and was operated by Cedar Fair until recently. This park does a lot of things well as I’ll cover in this review.

70 dollars?!? 😳
The food themes are adorable.
Can you do a Canadas Wonderland Review?
$70 oh my goodness
Consistent, non-stop, quality content.
Even $50 is a whole lot for that park.
Why is your channel not bigger!? Just nonstop incredible content. You and coaster studios are BY FAR my favorite coaster content. Great stuff, man. Keep it up.
I wasn't even aware Cedar Fair stopped operating the park…we went there a few years back with my Knotts Platinum Pass while we were in the area…very nice park full of water features and gardens…and feels much cooler there with all the shade . My gf and I had a good time there , but yeah if you only care about rides…and at that price point , not a good deal
Being a fan of botanical gardens, this park is a MUST! I 1st saw it on PBS Victory Garden as well as Florida's Cypress Gardens. The man that created the trees, took the "secret" to his grave. Very unique trees. Glad Paramount didn't mess it UP! Cedar had likely other plans and to "me" was more of a miss match in what the companies future goals would be. PPL balk over the price, but these type of gardens aren't cheap. Esp. in California w/ water crisis. I've been to San Antonio w/ a lot of fountains and stuff NOT working due to low aquifer. Excellent review Canobie. There are also plenty other places in that region to visit. Winchester House, Legoland, Napa Valley Railroad + vineyards.
Great review! Thanks so much, you're putting out an amazing amount of high quality content!
Can please tell me if they allow Platinum Pass holders to get free parking?
If this park was still owned by Cedar Fair, where would it rank among their other parks?
I had no clue that it's no longer in the Cedar Fair family. I was already doubtful that I would ever visit here, but now, it's highly unlikely. It sure looks beautiful though.
Cedar Fair parks: we make the world's most beautiful parks
Sea World parks: excuses me? Have you yet seen Busch Gardens Williamsburg…..
Cedar Fair parks: congratulations on the golden ticket award

Awesomest Parks: hold up just for a minute guys… Wait til my parks open up in real life
When I first visited the park I was shocked about how beautiful the park looked, I never lived too far away from the park and always thought it was for toddlers, but it turned to be a pleasant and enjoyable experience for even a teenager. Did you visit cga as well?
Gilroy gardens actually has plans to expand to include an adventure park, which will include zip lines, bike/hiking trails, and chair lifts.
