Personally having the vods on the archive would be more handy for myself. Having them all on just one place makes it easier for me and I see the new videos being recommended every day, which in turn lets me very easily and handily pull them up on a new tab ( or just straight up watch if I'm on mobile ) and it's all very handy and convenient.
I think just posting vods in archives won't be a problem at all

You could always get a third channel that has giant vods in it, because the archives monetization relies on each video having high viewership and interactions and such

As others have said just upload vods to the archives and name them appropriately.
Also sc1 marines only… the mission where you get kerrigan will be very interesting if you're going to refuse to use dropships. Will be fun to watch.

An archive channel is what you named it an archive. You can still edit these for your main channel especially as twitch deleted NON Highlighted broadcasts after a month sadly.
You could also make another channel if you are not feeling that is the best content for main channel (edited vods) calling it GiantGrantStuff or similiar.
One Wings of Liberty option would be a "Campaign Units only" run where, with the oblivious exception of no build missions and possibly Mar Sara, you restrict yourself to only those units that aren't on the ladder.
I have a really random request for a custom/mod campaign – The person who is doing Legacy of the Tal'darim >> what about Alarak Covert Ops? (I realise the irony of the whole Alarak vs Jin'ara situation but it could 100% be turned to make Karax the secondary villain in the campaign story wise if he is harvesting solarite in the terran population)
Vods on the archives is fine, it doesn't take away from the prerecorded videos, and I think most would agree. Though if you want to make a third channel that works just as well.
Stalkers Only is one of my favorite challenge runs and also the first one I watched on the archives
