Dan, I would like to remind you that not only is Metal Gear super anime, Kojima himself is a massive weeb. Otacon is LITERALLY named Otacon because he loves anime (something Kojima planted because he too loves anime), the opening scene of MGS2 of Snake jumping off the bridge in camo is taken from Ghost in the Shell, the elevator you ride down to get to Metal Gear in MGS1 is a reference to the elevator scene in Akira, Kojima hired the Japanese voice actor for Snake BECAUSE he loved his acting in the Ghost in the Shell anime film, and lastly Policenauts, a game Kojima directed, is LITERALLY an anime game. Come on, Dan. Just admit Kojima is a weeb and Metal Gear is also a weeb game.
To Dan's credit, if it was still the 2000s, Dan is 1000% correct about Metal Gear being bigger then Persona. To Zoomers, however, I'm willing to bet more people know about Persona then Metal Gear.
