  1. So the thing I’m contemplating is that sans has near perfect evasion till he gets tired. How long and how many moves till he gets tired? Does ghost rider have equal evasion? Can sans hit him with hard enough attacks to damage or kill ghost rider? Can ghost rider withstand sans attacks? I feel like after these questions or ideas are addressed we’ll get a clear winner. The soul conversation was a great idea that I haven’t thought about but that would come after the evasion and attack power comparisons I think.

  2. While I am not able to be part of this debate while it was happening I know this much an angel and a demon both can be said to either have a soul or is a soul (it depends on the verse and how they work in the verse) and the term spirit usually means some type of ghost or soul and ghosts are a soul (basically this means that the spirit of vengeance zarathos (if I spelled his name correctly) is the soul that is the embodiment of the concept of vengeance that happens to have once been an angel so at the end of the day sans theoretically could use this against zarathos to some extent)

  3. Like this one. I'd say Ghost Rider wins because Sans is only at his strongest against a pure villain. While Ghost Rider isn't good, he's not irredeemably evil. It's reasonable to assume Sans karma-based power would have little to no effect, and without that, he's "the weakest enemy in the game." Even if Ghost Riders main power is also less effective, I think he wouldn't need it.

  4. This episode really just depends on if Sans can implement game logic on others, I think he can because he drags out your soul and put it into the the game’s fighting logic

  5. It's heavily implied through in-game dialogue that Sans was part of, or at least aware of the Determination Experiments that Alphys did. The fact that he keeps it a secret is proof that he isn't entirely innocent.
Also, Sans, as well as every other Boss Monster in Undertale have the power to manipulate your ability at the very least your ability to move, which in Sans' case he alters gravity it seems to way you down, (I hesitate to call it Soul manipulation, as I personally think that "Determination" is that world's equivalent to a Soul. Thus, trying to inject "Determination", or a Soul into a Monster makes them wildly unstable, but it's Frisk's soul that allows them to get back up and try again).
If that logic is to be believed, then Sans likely doesn't have a Soul. The only Monsters we have seen with a Soul, or "Determination", were Undine and Flowery. Sans has never been shown to suffer from the effects of Determination, so unless he's just built different, it can be assumed that Sans never choose to obtain Determination.

Also, Sans is seen riding some kind of Motorbike during the Credits, surpassing Papyrus in speed, showing that he's at least on par with Ghost Rider's Motor skills.

  6. Frisk isn't lightning speed, they're a normal kid. Even assuming that the magic lightning they avoid in the bullet hell sections is as fast as real lightning that would only scale to the speed of their soul.

  7. For the record, being forced into the battle mechanics is a canonical thing of the undertale world, so Ghost rider would be forced to follow the turn based rpg rules and use the menu to choose his actions, and it also forced your HP and stats to be quantified, and so ghost rider would have to follow the "rules of the game" and sans as a character deals the same amount of damage no matter your defense stat, so he couldn't just tank sans attacks. And he doesn't just dodge he moves himself out of the "damage area" and you therefore miss no matter what weapon you use or how fast or well you attack so Ghost rider would have to use some sort of ability like penance stare to even damage him, and since he's never killed or done any violent sins penance stare would just be an angry glare, additionally sans attacks are suggested to be able to hurt Flowey given floweys' understanding of how dangerous sans is, which means sans' attacks work on beings with no souls but here's the kicker to me, sans' attacks are stronger against someone who has killed people, meaning the more you kill, the more of a danger sans is to you, regardless of if the kill is "just" or not, meaning both johnny and the spirit of vengance would probably be taking an absurd amount of karmic damage, which means their hp would just drain throughout the fight unil it hit 1 then sans would just need to hit them once. The question really comes down to how good Ghost rider is at bullet hell games. Also sans can put his attacks on the buttons needed to fight him on your turn, which is outright cheating. Also speed feat, sans can ride a pedal Tricycle faster than a sportscar speeding down a highway and he has instant teleportation to the point he can occupy multiple spaces at once, they didn't make very informed arguments for sans at all.
